Three men were killed and several wownded in a battle in which Winchesters and revolvers were used at a oamp meeting at Mount Victory, Pnlaski county, twelve miles east of Somerset. PRKPARING FOR MISSISSIPPI'S HOME AT WORLD'S FAIR. Jackson, Sept. 7 Hon. R. H.

Henry, Mississippi commissioner I to the Louisiana Purchase Exposition, has Tetruned from a trip to Beauvoir, the historic home of Jefferson Davis, where he went Saturday accompanied by Mr. J. F. Barnes, the architect who has been retained to prepare the plans for the Mississippi building at St. Louis, which will be an exact reproduction of the' Jefferson Davis home.

During the stay at Beauvoir careful measurements were taken of the interior and exteiior of the structure. nd detail sketches made of interior fittings, mantels, wainscotting, the object being to have the building as reproduced an counterpart of the oiigipal in the most minute derail. The Mississippi building will be constructed entirely out of Misiisslppi material, and the work of contsrnotion will be commented as euon as the working plans oan be prepared and the contract awarded.
