He preceded her in death on August 27, 1974. She was employed at Musebeck Shoe Factory and Cedar Grove Piggly Wiggly for many years. She was a member of First Reformed Church in Cedar Grove and had a special love for gardening. She is survived by two daughters, Rosemary (Dr. Richard) Jones, Bell-ingham, Wash, and Patti (Terry) Eer-nlsse, Cedar Grove; two sons, Gary (Shirley) Soerens and Kenneth (Donna) Soerens, both of Cedar Grove; 11 grandchildren, Brent and Laura Jones, Aaron, Ryan and Kayla Eernisse, Stacie Maleug, Shawn (Dale) Opgenorth, Kenda (Richard) Kettenhoven, Grant (Stacy) Soerens, Holly and Jennifer Soerens; five greatgrandchildren, Zachary Houston, Jessica and Jacob Maleug, Seth and Tyler Opgenorth; one sister, Elvira (Harold) Klug, Cedar Grove; two brothers, Ernest (Marion) Prinsen and Roger (Carol) Prinsen, both of Cedar Grove.

She was preceded in death by her parents and husband. Funeral services will be held at 6:30 p.m., on Friday, May 2, 1997 at First Reformed Church in Cedar Grove with the Rev. Joe Moore officiating. Emily enjoyed needlework and sewing, her garden and being with her family, especially her great-granddaughters, Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law, Patricia and Omer Smits, DePere; two grandsons, Bill (Patti) Ruggles, Green Bay and Mike Ruggles, Madison; two great-granddaugh- ters, Cortny and Catty Ruggles and nephews and nieces, including Sherry Baalke, Linda Thiel and Betty Reinke. In addition to her husband and par- ems, she was preceded In death by a grandson, Bobby Ruggles; two sisters, Molly Kober and Marie Nelesen; and a brother, Christ Eirich. Funeral services will be held Friday, at 2 p.m. at Ballhorn Funeral Chapels. The Rev.

Alan Kretschmar, pastor of St, Paul's Lutheran Church, will officiate. Burial will take place in Lutheran Cemetery. Mark Berg, pastor of Trinity Lutheran Church, Town of Wilson, officiating. Entombment will follow at Gardens of Peace Mausoleum in the Town of Sheboygan. Harder, 78, of 18 Reed Plymouth, died unexpectedly, at his home, Tuesday morning, April 29, 1997. He was born December 15. 1918 in the Town of Plymouth, a son of the late William and Meta Sass Harder. He attended school in Greenbush and Plymouth High School. On October 12, 1940, he was mar-ried to Ruth Steinhardt.

The couple lived in Plymouth, before farming in the Town of Mitchell and later in the Town of Plymouth and in 1951, retired from farming. Harold then drove truck for L.C.L. Transit and Olson Transit and finally, for Cheese retiring in 1984. He is a member of St. John Lutheran Church in Plymouth.

He had also been a member of the Kohler Sheepshead Club, the Kiwanis Golden Key Club and was active in the Meals On Wheels program In Plymouth. He also participated In the Plymouth Senior Center programs. Harold and Ruth loved dancing and were active in Polka dancing throughout the state. They moved to the City of Plymouth in 1977. Survivors include his wife, Ruth, a resident of Rocky Knoll Health Care Facility; one daughter, Donna (Loren) Shogren, Forest Lake, two sons, Steven (Donna), Fond du Lac and Charles (Beverly), Plymouth; eight grandchildren, Kristin and Karen Shogren and Jaymie (James) Kaphin-gst, Michael (KyongHui) Harder, Anthony (Kelly) Harder and Stephen (Angela) Harder and Max and Leah Harder; six great-grandchildren; three step-grandchildren, Michele, Pamela and Shawn Conrad; two sisters, Helen Goodacre and Marion (Fred) Boe-decker, both of Sheboygan.

He was preceded in death by one sister, Hazel Kraus. Funeral services will be held Saturday, May 3, at 1 1 a.m. at St. John Lutheran Church In Plymouth. The Rev.

Thomas Burton, pastor will officiate. Burial will take place in Plymouth Woodlawn Cemetery. Friends may call at the Wittkopp Funeral Home in Plymouth from 4-8 p.m., on Friday and at the church, on Saturday, from 10 a.m. until the hour of services. Wippermann, The Sheboygan Press May 1,1997 Walter Erwin Stroessner Walter E. Stroessner, 68, of 915 Broadway, Sheboygan Falls, died Wednesday, April 30, 1997 at Sunny Ridge Nursing Home.

Walter was born August 20, 1 928 In the Town of Saukvilie, Ozaukee County, the son of the late Walter A. and Rose Grotelueschen Stroessner. He graduated from Port Washington High School in 1946. On October 15, 1949, ha married Wilma Irene Seefeldt at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Sheboygan. Walter was a dairy farmer, shipping to Lake to Lake Dairy from 1961 until 1995, when he retired.

He also was employed at General Machinery Corporation in Sheboygan and at Bolens in Port Washington. He was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in the Town of Wilson and was a former Sunday School teacher there. He was former secretary and president of Acorn Farmers Union; bowling secretary for Good Fellowship Bowling League at the Playdium for many years. Milton A. Wippermann Sr.

Milton A. Wippermann 93, a resident of Willowdala Nursing Center of New Holstein, and formerly of N8089 Bridgswood Road, Town of Sheboygan Falls, died Tuesday, April 29, 1997, at the center, where he had been residing the last month. He was born March 1 1, 1904 In the Town of Mossl, Sheboygan County Wisconsin, a son of the late Otto and Emily Fischer Wippermann, Milton worked at Plnehurst Farms, prior to his marriage to Caroline Ram-mlnger on Nov, 28, 1927. She preceded him in death on Sept. 22, 1 928.

Milton Wippermann and Gertrude Grunwald were united In marriage on Dec. 8. 1930. After marriage, the couple farmed In the Town of Sheboygan Falls and briefly worked at Lorfeld farm in Osman, from 1941 until 1944, then moving back to the Town of Sheboygan Falls farm, where Milton lived until about one month ago. Gertrude preceded him In death on Oct.

15, 1991. Milton was a member of Immanuel United Church of Christ In Town Herman, where he was a member of the Men's Brotherhood. He was also past secretary and treasurer for the Howards Grove Senior Center and was a past member of the National, State and County Holstein Association. Surviving Milton are two sons, Wallace (Betty) Wippermann and Milton (La Vern) Wippermann both of Newton; a daughterGloria (Jerome) Casper, New Holstein; ten grandchildren and 25 great-grandchildren; a sister, Vema Knoener, Sheboygan; four sisters-in-law, Mildred Knier, Elkhart Lake; Esther Wippermann and Serena Grunwald, both of Howards Grove; Myrtle Happel, Plymouth; two brothers-in-law, Elmer Dirks, Sheboygan; and Melvin Happel, Plymouth. He was also preceded in death by six sisters, WMH! -nLLillJJ The family thanks the staff of Harmony for their kindness shown during Emily's residency with them.

The following words were Emily's own testimony of her faith for the benefit of her family and friends. "Weep not in tears of sorrow, because I've gone away. But weep with tears of gladness, for the peace I have today. I know your hearts are heavy with sorrow that you bear, but God has called me home, My place Is ready there. Arlene was born on September 25, 1927 in Sheboygan, the daughter of the late Erwin and Delia (Navis) Prin-; sen. She graduated from Cedar Grove High School in 1945.
