Fritz, 88, passed away Friday, Feb. 11, 2005, at Morningside Nursing under the care of St. Nicholas Hospice. Frances was born July 28, 1916 in Sheboygan to the late John and Frances (Zebre) Plesetz.

She attended Ss Cyril Methodius Catholic School. On May 10, 1948 she married Carl Fritz in lowa. She ran the family owned business, Plesetz Grocery Store on Indiana Ave. Frances was a member of St. over 50 years.

She enjoyed playing the organ, gardening and cooking, spending hours and in the kitchen with her thousands of recipes. She also loved to watch the W.W.F. Survivors include her sons, Carlos Fritz of Sheboygan and Jeff (Denise) Fritz of Newton; her daughter, Sandi (Barrie) Tuttle of Windsor three grandchildren, Jeff Labbadia, and Heather and Joey Fritz.

She is also survived by her brother, Ludwig (Delores) Plesetz of California; and sister-in-laws, Elvira Binversie and Betty Basch. She is further survived by many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her brothers, Frank and John (Mary) Plesetz, Henry Basch; and her sister Olga (Rudy) Saye. She was a loving and generous mother and grandmother who will be greatly missed. Frances M.

They were scheduled for a plea hearing in Circuit Court Branch 3 Friday on the Sheboygan County charges, but that hearing was postponed. The three men are accused of stealing a safe, containing more than $20,000 in cash along with securities and documents, from the home of a 68- year-old Town of Greenbush woman Nov. 10. According to the criminal complaint, Costa came to the door of the woman's home, posing as an employee of the state Department of Transportation. He convinced her to follow him into a field behind the house and then asked her to wait there until his partner came to put in a stake for a future highway project.

After waiting several minutes, the woman returned to her home to find the vehicle Costa had driven up in gone and the lock on her front door broken. She then discovered the safe missing from inside the house. The three men were captured in Port Washington later that same day. They were allegedly involved in a similar incident earlier in the day in Kaukauna, where they posed as representatives of a contracting company. The three men are being held in Sheboygan County Jail on bail, $45,000 for Costa and $75,000 each for Dean and Velez.

Dean's fingerprints came back from the FBI matched to the name Danny Marino, and he is apparently wanted in California for a parole violation under the name Daniel Fleetwood, according to DeCecco. Other aliases found for Dean include Dean John, Daniel Mitchell and Marino Fleetwood, he said. Velez is wanted in Pennsylvania for a parole violation under the name Paul Miguel, while his fingerprints came back from the FBI matched to the name John Chase and he also showed an alias of Steve Miguel.
