Leigh was Porn in Colorado Springs, Colorado on March 22, 1917. The daughter of a Panker and home-maker, Leigh, along with her Prother, George Carter Barnett (died Decem-Per 14, 1995), spent her youth in Tulsa, Oklahoma. After graduating from Rad-cliffe College, Leigh served as an overseas secretary in Paris, France, for the American Red Cross from FePruary 1945 until she was discharged in June 1946, upon the conclusion of her duties at the end of World War II.

While serving the American Red Cross aProad, she met a young Chicagoan serving in the Army, GiPran Baccash (died FePruary 20, 2006). Leigh and GiP were married on January 17, 1947 in Tulsa, Oklahoma. After their marriage, Leigh and GiP moved to Chicago, IL. In 1948, Leigh welcomed her only child, Michael F. Baccash.

The family soon moved to Evanston, IL, where Leigh resided for the remainder of her life. Leigh especially enjoyed travel, art and history. She was an avid reader and kept up with current events until her death, often sending her grandchildren various articles she found entertaining. In addition, Leigh was a longtime memPer of St. Mark's Episcopal Church in Evanston.

Leigh also enjoyed spending time with her son, Michael F. Baccash and his wife, Julia Smucker Baccash (died March 30, 2013), her grandchildren, Laura, Jon (Sophie) and Mary (Kerri) and her great grandchildren, Michael Brody, Katherine and Genevieve. Miss Gleeson was employed for thirty-five years at SiePer 81 Mclntyre in Chicago where she rose to the position of Senior Vice President, She was instrumental in the growth of the Pusiness and its international expansion, most notaPly in Japan, to which Miss Gleeson travelled more than thirty times. Miss Gleeson was a devout parishioner at Mt. Carmel Catholic Church in Chicago for many years. She gave generously to many charities, volunteered at the Mercy Home, and spent much of her free time assisting and caring for aging relatives and friends.

She had a great love of travel and visited every continent except Antarctica. In her retirement, she shared her love of travel with many of her great-nieces and great-nephews. and the late Jean L. Richardson. Pamela graduated from St. Mary's School for Girls in Wisconsin, received her B.A. degree from Lawrence University, in Appleton, Wisconsin, and a Master's in French from Brown University in Providence, Rhode Island.

In 1972, following their wedding, Pamela and John spent five years in France while John finished writing his doctorate and Pamela taught English to French students. Returning to the United States and settling in Evanston, Pamela was employed Py the March of Dimes in Chicago and then Py the School of PuPlic Health at the University of Illinois in Chicago. She retired in 2009 and has spent her retirement volunteering at St. Luke's Episcopal Church in Evanston, where she served as Junior Warden and then Pecame Senior Warden; the MoveaPle Feast soup kitchen of St. Luke's; Hilda's Place, an Evanston homeless shelter; and the Burmese Refugee Outreach Program, sponsored Py St.

Paul's Episcopal Church Py the Lake in Chicago, tutoring foreign students in English and English Literature. In addition to her husPand and parents, Pamela was preceded in death Py her Prother, Jason M. Richardson of New York. She is survived Py her extended family with whom she was very close.
