Authorities found a tuft of Bruguier's hair on the side of the road when her body was found. "It got there somehow and it sure wasn't there for three months," Youngstrom said.

Officials found two house keys and a vehicle key in Archam-beau's pocket, but Youngstrom has not learned to what house or vehicle they belong. Two men in a Blazer-type vehicle were seen a few hours before the first body was found. "While information about donors is confidential, we may have found a preliminary match for someone else," Johnson-Pochardt said. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday in St. Mary's Catholic Church in Clear Lake. Burial will be in the Lakeview Cemetery at Clear Lake.

Archambeau and Bruguier had a daughter together who is now almost 4 years old, Erika Marie. Myrtle Bruguier said the child watched the "Unsolved Mysteries" segment. "She sat in front of the TV and said to another little girl, 'Look, that's my mommy and that's my Continued from 1A Bruguier's relatives appeared on the show, as did Youngstrom.

Local actors portrayed others. The show re-created the Dec. 12, 1992, car accident in which Ar-chambeau's Chevrolet Monte Carlo rolled in a frozen ditch east of Lake Andes. Bruguier's cousin, Tracy Dion, then 17, was with the couple in the car. She explained on the show how Bruguier and Archambeau were gone by the time she got out of the overturned car.

Law enforcement, family and volunteers searched the ditch and surrounding area, but found no trace of Bruguier or Archambeau. Then on March 10, 1993, a passer-by found Bruguier's body in four feet of water, about 75 feet from the accident site. Archam-beau's body was found nearby the next day, after authorities drained water from the ditch. "I know they weren't in that ditch and then they showed back up," Simmons said. Here is what authorities know: Archambeau and Bruguier died of exposure, but most likely not in the ditch.

Bruguier was more decomposed than Archambeau. Officials don't know where the couple was after they disappeared, or how they ended up in the ditch. Polygraph tests indicate that several people saw the couple alive after they were reported missing, including one woman who knew Archambeau and talked with him New Year's Eve three weeks after the disappearance.
