Mr. Shaffer met the young man several years ago when 1 he was- Holy Land. The two became acquainted on the common ground of Boy Scout work. Mr. Shaffer was interested in" Boy Scout activities in Gentry about that time, and naturally interested himself in George who was then a patrol leader in Jerusalem.

George is. a graduate of the secondary class, of Terra Santa College, Jerusalem. The class is 'the equivalent of an accredited high school in the United States. He speaks good English, having learned it at-Terra Santa The young man left home November 12, making the sea journey, on the S. S.
