Godfredson reunion held at Swea City Swea City The 10th annual Godfredson family reunion was held in the Legion hall at Swea City, Sunday, June 21, with 75 attending. A basket dinner was enjoyed, after which a miscellaneous shower was held for Mrs Arthur Groen 'of Algona. A short business meeting was then conducted by Mrs John Von Bank. Mrs Mervin Johnson was elected president for the coming year with Mrs Cecil Godfredson as secretary. In attendance were Mr and Mrs Oscar Riddle of West Concord.

LOOFT REUNION The Looft family held its annual family reunion in the VFW hall Sunday. Present were Mr and Mrs Donald Looft and family of Alexandria, Mr and Mrs Frank Looft. The Uhr families of Swea City all attended. Lester Jensen and Barbara and Judy of Buffalo. were last weekend guests of Mr and Mrs Harold Fischer. Thursday evening guests of Mr and Mrs Eddie Bauers were Mr and Mrs Fred Ruhnke ami Larry, of Whittemore. Mr and Mrs Dick Anderson and Mr and Mrs Brink Shipler and granddaughter.

Linda Gamble, of Des Moines. are spending a few days visiting Mr and Mrs R. E. Ridge at Leech Lake. Mr and Mrs Denvood Voigt and children visited at the home of Mr and Mrs Art Voigt ol Fenson.

Sunday evening. Mr and "Mrs Dale Herzberg and two children, of DCS Moines, visited Friday and Saturday with her parents. Mr and Mr? John Nyman. Mr and Mrs Clarence Tokheim and Virginia, of Jewell, visited Tuesday evening at the Sam Link home. They had been to visit Wm.

Payne at Fairmont. who is making his home in the Crestview rest home there. Last week Thursday Mr ami Mrs Harold Fletcher, of Highpoint. N. visited friends and relatives here.

They spent Friday night at the home of Mr and Mrs Sam Link. From Swea City they went to Ames to visit with relatives. Mr and Mrs Don Jaqua and children and Mr and Mrs-Duane Swanson of Fairmont spent Sunday with their parents. Mr and Mrs Leonard Swanson. Dick Mogenson of Rochester, spent the weekend visiting with his grandmother.
