They are conscious of power. It is driving them on.

They are conscious of it but lack the understanding and love of spirit to direct it to accomplish the good that they desire. "Having figured progress in terms of physical science and invention, mankind today has left itself behind. True progress involves a spiritual unfoldment and growth of the individual in love, wisdom to know what is good and harmonizing for all and determination to use power only to accomplish good. Now many are beginning to realize that something greater than the use of power to destroy must be called into action to stop what has been ignorantly set into motion, to save the world from utter annihilation, and they seek contact with something greater than self. "Even this slight seeking is prayer, of a kind, and we are hearing more and more about prayer and the efficacy of prayer these tragic days than ever before.

Through prayer many are becoming aware of and acquainted with the transforming power that is within them and are being transformed by the renewing of their minds. Praying the best they know how in desperate situations, many are experiencing soul inspiring answers: rescues from the seas and starvation, guidance through dense, enemy infested jungles, safe returns and landings in a 'prayed for protection in battles and on torpedoed ships and thousands of such acts of God.
