No. 125 22-23. By Alderman Sprenger. BE IT RESOLVED, by the Mayor and Common Council of the City The little men had not traveled far before the outskirts of Midgetville were reached. "That place over there," said Jack, "looks just like a miniature farm." "It is," replied, one of the midgets.

"We have cows and chickens and horses and everything just like jrou do in your own land." I i'l As Jack followed the men into the farmyard, a honse looked up at him and started to run and jump about. "He's scared!" shouted a midget. "He's afraid of our visitor. Catch him or he'll get away!" Jack took a few steps and caught up with the horse. He picked the animal off the ground.

All the midgets laughed to see Jack handle the horse so easily. "You will never have trouble with animals if you treat them right," said Jack. And it seemed that the horse understood Jack, for he was very gentle when Jack put him down. Next they headed for the chicken coops. (Continued.) Previous to his enlistment he had been working as a laborer but because of his disability, it was now an impossibility for him to carry on in this work. Today Mr.

Wolinski is successfully employed as an Armature winder for the Aluminum Goods Manufacturing Company of Two Rivers. Wisconsin. Mr. Woiinski's "come-back" was effected through a course of training given him by the government, through it's agency the S. Veterans Bureau which aided hint during his period of re-edjustment and helped him overcome the disadvantages caust-d by his disabil-ity.

Training having beta grunted him. he began a course is Electricity and Armature Winding and Coils with the Kohler Company ot Kohler. in March 1921. He applied himsktf diligentiy his tasks and in June lti.2 completed Lis training. Mr.

vas then tillered the position with th" Alum inutu Gotxis Manut'ar taring Cora-jauy which he is now successfully filling. John Wolinski enlisted in Aug ust. 1917 and was assigned as a Private to Company I. nth Infantry, 7th Division. With his outit he went overseas and saw action in many important engagements until he was wounded at Verdun.

From that time until his discharge he wa3 in the hospital. John Wolinski has proven the "worth of the vocational training program of the government. His determination to make of himself a useful productive citizen rather than become a drag in his community is typical of the spirit of the disabled man of today.
