She leaves behind her husband, Joseph, of 64 years; her children: Harold (Mary Lee) Rebman, Kissimmee, FL, Joseph (Suzanne) Brader, Lake Worth, FL, and Sandra (erald) Schoyen, Oakland Park, FL. She had nine grandchildren: Thomas Rebman, Theresa Faith, Mark Brader, Jeff Brader, David Brader, Joseph W. Brader, Judith Fisher, Kathleen Eve and Gary Davis. She also had 12 great-grandchildren.

Dorothy and her husband, Joseph, owned and operated the Brader's Diner in Lancaster, PA. After moving to Fort Lauderdale, Dorothy worked at Sears, Roebuck Co. and the Hawaiian Sport Shop. Her husband, Joe, retired from the Post Office. They are members of Second Presbyterian Church of Ft.

LIBERATORI Liberatori, Anthony owner and president of Anthony's Plumbing died on Tuesday, May 15, in Plantation, Florida. Mr. Liberatori, 83 years old and a 30 year resident, has been actively working full-time up until his recent illness. He is survived by his beloved wife of 55 years, Louise; loving daughters Sharyn Klahm of St. Petersburg, Denise LiberatoriMcFatter of Black Mountain, North Carolina, Dale Liberatori, and Robin L.

Kaplan of Coral Springs. He is also survived by devoted sonsin-law Alec Klahm, Andrew Kaplan, and Daniel McFatter, and cherished grandsons Vito Travis Liberatori and Joshua Kaplan. Born in Framingham, Massachusetts in 1918, Mr. Liberatori served honorably in the United States Navy from 1942 to 1944, in military action in the South Pacific aboard the naval ships Montpelier and DeNobila. Formerly a firefighter, he then attended Wentworth Institute, and was a Master Plumber and successful businessman for the past 50 years.

He relocated with his family to Ft. Lauderdale in 1970, where he established Anthony's Plumbing, Inc. He was previously active in the Master Plumbers' Association of Broward County, and was a member of the Moose Lodge of Tamarac. A lifelong Democrat, he was a student of American history, an avid golfer and a dedicated and joyful family man. A private memorial service to celebrate his life is being planned for family and friends, and will be announced at a later date.

He was a world War It veteran, serving in the Marine Corps. After his military service he returned to Hollywood where he resided for a number of years. He is survived by his loving wife, Joyce Menees Tinglof. He is preceded in death by son Iver "Gus" Tinglof Ill and survived by sons Van (Kathleen) and Robert. He is also survived by 5 grandchildren: Jennifer, John, Christopher, Matthew and Andrew.

Mr. Tinglof was gifted with entrepreneurial abilities which he applied in Real Estate. He was a man of loyalty to all who knew him, worked for him and loved him. Alice Werbel was the wife of the late Fred Werbel, the loving mother of Dr. Brian Werbel and his wife Sandra and the late Greg Werbel. Alice was the adored grandmother of Tyler and Megan Werbel. She was the sister of Marilyn Umin, Joe Walfish and Julie Walfish. Alice was a long time resident of Plantation and Fort Lauderdale.

She was a member of the Potters Guild at Broward Community College for many years. Alice's love for ceramic sculpture exposed her to a world of wonderful friends and interesting places of travel. But most of all, Alice was a devoted mother, grandmother and friend who will be loved and remembered always for her grace and kindness. She will be truly missed by all who knew and loved her. A Memorial Service will be held Friday, May 18, 2001 at 10:00 AM at Riverside Memorial Chapel, 2330 Hollywood Boulevard.

May 1, 2001, at Garden Terrace in Shawnee, KS, surrounded by her family. A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, May 19, at St. Marks Episcopal Church, 1750 East Oakland Park Boulevard where her ashes will be laid to rest next to her beloved husband. Peggy was born in Reynoldsville, PA, on September 5, 1908, the eldest child of Bernice and David Conrad.

In 1932, Peggy met her love in Albany. NY and the two were soon married. After the early years in Kansas, the family moved to Panama where David was the Chief Architect for the Canal Zone and Peggy was the Property Manager for Gorgas Hospital. Upon retirement in 1965, the two retired to FL Lauderdale where they continued their camaraderie with other retired when her husband died in 1975. Peggy continued to live an independent life.

In 1999, she moved to the Atriums in Overland Park, KS to be closer to her family. She was preceded in death by her husband, David and her granddaughter, Kathy Pomeroy. Peggy is survived by her two sons, David C. Yerkes and his wife, Gloria, Overland Park, KS and J. W.

Yerkes and his wife, Sara, Santa Barbara, CA; four grandchildren, john Yerkes and his wife, Christine, Tricia Beaman and her husband, Brian, all of Overland Park, KS, Margaret Killeen and her husband, Ed, St. Louis, MO and Kari Hummel and her husband, Jean, Chatsworth, CA; along with eight great-grandchildren. Peggy, never the shy one, was a true classic. She always made a point to exhibit poise and elegance, whether in the confines of her home or in the face of adversity. Her fortitude and pride were indeed her defining characteristics.

We know that she is smiling again in her best party dress with good friends and her husband at her side. May God shower her with all the grace and providence that she deserves. Miami Beach, FL died on May 15, 2001. National Cremation SCHOMBER Schomber, Walter former Deputy Chief, City of Mt. Vernon Fire Department, Mt. Vernon, NY, died May 15, 2001 in Miami, FL. Born March 23, 1907 in Mt.

Vernon to John and Pauline (Fischer) Schomber, he was the eldest of four children. He outlived his siblings, and was predeceased in 1987 by his best friend and beloved wife of fifty-five years, the former Gladys Mandrey. Mr. Schomber is survived by son, Robert (Jean) of N. Miami, grandsons, Scott (Charmain) of Miami and Kent of N.

Miami, seven nieces, a nephew, numerous cousins and many friends. Prior to joining the fire department in 1937, he was employed for fourteen years by the Westchester Lighting Company. In the fire department, he devoted himself to acquiring technical competence and volunteering for service on every apparatus the department owned. Mr. Schomber rose through the ranks and was promoted to Deputy Fire Chief in 1965.

He displayed a high personal concern for the safety of those reporting to him. His strong and frequently stated belief that an officer should never ask his men to do anything that he would not willing do himself promoted loyalty and commitment in the face of difficult and dangerous situations. Before retirement in 1970, Mr. Schomber served as Acting Fire Chief A member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church, Mt.

Vernon, he later worshiped in St. Andrew's Episcopal Church, Mastic Beach, NY. He was a past president of the Mastic Beach Property Owners Association and a member of the Potunk Masonic Lodge, E. Moriches, NY. A private service was held in Florida, with a memorial service scheduled for 1:00 PM, Saturday, May 19, 2001, St.

Harriet grew up in Oak Park, Illinois and moved to St. Paul, Minnesota in 1945. She was active in civic affairs, serving as President of The Womens' City Club, the Schubert Club and the Thursday Club. She also served as Vice-President of the United Nations Association of Minnesota. She and her husband, Bill, moved to Florida in 1973.

She is survived by her sister, Patricia Walker of Hot Springs, Arkansas; two sons. John M. Stafford and his wife, Ardietta of Naples, Florida nd William Abbott, Jr. of Phoenix, Arizona; two grandsons, John and Michael and four great-grandchildren. QUETSCHENBACH Quetschenbach, Erma 97, of Boca Raton went home to be with her heavenly father on Tuesday, May 15, 2001. Erma was a member of St. Lucy's Catholic Church in Highland Beach. Mrs. Quetschenbach was preceded in death by her husband Edward in 1965.

Born on February 26, 1910, he grew up in Hartford, CT and graduated from the Connecticut College of Pharmacy in 1927. He was a registered pharmacist and owned several drugstores in the Hartford area. He has resided in Boynton Beach for the past 28 years. He was Past President of the Hartford County Druggist Association and the Hartford Pharmaceutical Society and was very active in the Congregation Beth israel, West Hartford, CT, as well as the Rho Pi Phi International Pharmacy Fraternity. in Florida, he was involved with many civic organizations as well as UJA and the Jewish Federation of South Florida.

He was very philanthropic and supported a multitude of Jewish organizations and geriatric medical facilities in both Florida and Hartford. He leaves his wife Eve (Dorter) Sewall, his son, Dr. Warren Sewall and his wife, Phyllis of Philadelphia, PA, and his sister, Dorothy Perkell of Niantic and Boynton Beach, FL. He also leaves several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his first wife, Edna (Shakin) Sewall, his brother, Dr.

Sydney Sewall and his sister, Sylvia Byrnes. Funeral services will be held on Friday, May 18 at Weinstein Mortuary, Hartford, CT with interment at the Wolkowysker Society Cemetery in Hartford.
