So I bought some adhesivebacked paper and just covered them. It's great! I also removed the knobs from the fronts of all the bathroom drawers and put the matching adhesive on all the drawers.

I find this prevents the usual "marks" that get on a drawer. Saved a paint job here as the drawers were all that. really needed painting. Now we've got a fancy, nearly new bathroom. How's that for a quickie? Louis Dolf I'd say it's a slickie! Do write again.

Next I cut the scrap loose and have it ready to sew ontol when at the end of the next seam. Do try it.

Your needle never comes unthreaded and I'm sure you, as well as will never sew without your handy "scrap." I. H. Dear Heloise: I read your column all the time. I have a little baby sister who is just at the age where she crawls all over. My mother and I put on her, but they keep falling off.

Mother's Helper Dear Folks: I have received many, many letters on the question, "What ever became of the nickel nickelodeon?" This was meant to be a poke in fun, but one of these letters came from a man who actually knows quite a bit about them as he is a musical instrument restorer.

Thought you might enjoy his letter as much as I did. Heloise Dear Heloise: Someone asked you "What became of the nickelodeon? Of the hundreds of thousands of these early jukeboxes that took nickels, only a small per cent remain. They were junked, burned, hacked to pieces and even transformed into gun cabinets and china closets. Now. and during the past decade, with the help of a few very patient and people, sometimes called "pneumatic fanatics," these old intricate musical performers are finding thir way back into circulation.

They may be found in musical museums, amusement parks and private collections, restored and ready to play (some even for a One such collection has taken about all my spare time for vears. (AP) -A ship model under construction on and off for nearly 100 years has been finished and has permanent berth at the "Oregon State University Marine Science Center. The ship was donated by W. 0. Christensen whose father designed and constructed the hull in 1882 to demonstrate his design of a modified center board. The elder Christensen served his apprenticeship in shipbuilding in Copenhagen.

Around the depression years, local tavern owner Kelly Gilkerson became fascinated with the ship and constructed the rigging made of Belfast linen cord, twisted and waxed, and the decking of 1-16 inch plankover a five-year period. Recently the ship was taken out of a long storage and as the final touch, Hugh Walter, Christensen friend, carved a back sea horse figurehead from a piece of East Indian buffalo horn.
