Our Brownsvile group num. bers 30 troops with 54 leaders at the present time, or this group 35 are new- just think of that! A number of important events have taken place since our last column. was Miss Lucile Douglass' visit to our Council. Miss Douglass is our community advisor who down about twice a year to help us with our problems. She stayed with us all last week and met with neighborhood chairmen and the functional committee chairmen. Miss Douglass was at Camp Lula Sams to present pins and rards the leaders who completed their basic group leadership course last week. Miss Douglass showed off our Camp Lula Sama to a group of visitors from the Whooping Crane Council, (he Girl Scout Council which includes Becvile.
