He came to Florida in 1954 and opened his own studio in Ft. Lauderdale. He worked with the George Evans Agency on the State of Florida Account. In 1977 he opened a 2nd studio in Coral Springs whose accounts included Coral Ridge Properties, City of Coral Springs, King Motors, Atlantic Federal, Broward National Bank, Woody Woodbury, many local Hotels Motels and designed covers for the Ft. Lauderdale Opera programs and worked on many political campaigns in Ft.

Lauderdale, Coral Springs and the State of Florida. Wachtstetter flew to Chicago last week despite his doctor's warnings. He was determined to say goodbye to some of his oldest friends at a reunion for the members of the 52nd Marine War Dog unit that served in World War II. "He'd been telling his Marine buddies for a year 'If I'm still breathing, I'll be said Mr. Wachtstetter's wife, Lee. "And he never started anything that he didn't finish.

And he never made a promise that he didn't keep." Mr. Wachtstetter's family were business pioneers in South Florida when they started the Wachtstetter Dairy in 1927 on land that is now Carol City. His family moved to Hollywood when he was 6 weeks old. Broward County was still an open farming and ranching community. He went to school at Hollywood Central and was a graduate of South Broward High and later went to the University of Florida and Ohio State University.

In 1996, she organized the Town Meeting of citizens and legislators held at Harbor's Edge. Mrs. Rabinowe worked in the IRS' Office of the Chief Counsel, then became Executive Director of the Jewish National Fund in B'nai Brith, Executive Director of Israel Bonds in B'nai Brith, and accepted the position as National Director of Legacy Development at B'nai Brith, which she held until her retirement in 1974. She was active in many charitable causes, including B'nai Brith, The United Jewish Appeal, Brandeis University, and the Boca Pops.

Mr. Wachtstetter is also survived by his daughter, Cathy; and sons, Bill, Jimmy and Tom. His grandchildren are Billy, Alecia, Ryan, Brett, Kristen, Lauren and Zachary.

His sisters are Phyllis Spates of Hollywood and Nancy Brandon of Franklin, N.C.
