Opre's dive through the middle ended the second overtime scoring attempt for the Big Red (1-0), who tied the game in regulation, 20-20, by reeling off 13 points in the fourth quarter. Columbia 20, Harvard 13: Bobby Tho-mason's second touchdown pass of the game and Roy Hanks' interception in overtime carried the Lions (1-0, 1-0) over the Crimson (0-1, 0-1) in New York. Marcellus Wiley blocked a field goal attempt by Harvard's Ryan Korinke with 1:15 remaining in the fourth quarter to force overtime. Yale 30, Brown 0: Blake Kendall threw three touchdown passes as the Elis (1-0, 1-0) defeated the Bears (0-1, 0-1) in Providence, R.I. quarter for a 22-18 lead.

Former University of Florida quarterback Eric Kresser threw three touchdown passes, two of them to Randy Moss, as Marshall's quick-strike, fun-and-gun offense rolled over Georgia Southern 29-13 in a Southern Conference game Saturday. Marshall, ranked No.

1 in Division I-AA, improved to 3-0 and 1-0 in the conference. No. 13 Georgia Southern fell to 1-2, 0-1. of Palm Beach Gardens, completed 23 of 36 passes for 221 yards. He hit Moss on plays of 42 yards at 4:08 of the first period and 4 yards at 4:52 of the second.
