Delegates, Alternates Named or Girls State Great Falls quota of 11 girls as delegates to the annual Montana Girls State, sponsored by the American Legion Auxiliary, will include six girls from Great Falls High School, three from Central Catholic High School and one each from Cascade and Centerville. Each is in her junior year. The 1957 event is scheduled June 23-29 at Montana State College in Bozeman. During the week, girls from every county in the state will participate as citizens of a mythical state which is patterned after Montana's government. They will nominate and elect officials from their own political parties, conduct a legislative session and operate their own counterparts of state offices during their training in the practical mechanics of government.
