PACE 6 A THE MA GEE COURIER, THURSDAY, JANUARY 28, 1988 Come to Him as a little child and meant that we should be full of unending questions like "How can I get over my guilt and ourselves by praying, reading the Bible, meditating, testifying, etc. Children imitate their parents just as we should our Lord. They grow rapidly every day as should we. Babies have two main fears: falling and darkness. Are we as afraid of falling into the darkness of sin? They forgive quickly and they forgive completely! What a great lesson they provide here! They learn quickly.

If they only learned to speak as quickly as we have learned the Bible in the past 10 years, how well could they speak? Dr. Tom ffi Congregational Methodiit Church out of sight of their parents. Likewise, we are uncomfortable if we wander away from our Heavenly Father. Babies feel intensely about feeding, as all young parents well know. I.

Peter 2:2 says that we should feel about feeding on the Milk of the Word just as a baby cries out for milk. This is very strong language, and it is important for us to understand what little children are like if we wish to enter God's Kingdom. Little children are completely trusting in their parents regardless of who their parents are.

Acts 16:31 urges "Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ and thou shalt be saved." We are to trust Him completely as a child does his parents. Do we believe in Him merely as we do Washington or Columbus, or do we have a childlike trust in Him? Children may say "My Daddy knows everything!" As teens, they change their minds. But our Heavenly Father really does know everything. Children are intensely curious and investigative. They really thirst after knowledge! They are full of questions like "Why is the sky "Why is the grass "Why do cows give "Why are there rainbows?" Jesus knew aobut their unending questions, Evangelism The Mississippi Baptist Evangelism Conference will take place Feb.
