Olive, died Sunday, October 23, 1988 at St. Dominics Memorial Hospital in Jackson. The Jefferson Davis County native was a member of the New Hope Baptist Church. Funeral services were conducted October 25, 1988 at Mims Mitchell Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Earl Surber and Rev.

Jerry Warren officiating. Mims Mitchell Funeral Home Chapel was in charge of arrangements with interment at Hopewell Cemetery. Survivors include 4 sons, Will Sullivan, Mt. Olive; Frank Sullivan, Jackson; Charles Sullivan, Walnut Grove, and Stanley Ray Sullivan, Mize: 3 daughters, Sarah Sullivan, Arlington, TX; Merle Herrington, Magee; and Fannie Butler, Magee: 2 brothers, Buford Robbins, Prentiss; and J.P. Robbins, Prentiss: 10 grandchildren and 16 greatgrandchildren; a host of relatives and friends.

Mr. Walter Dent Husband Mr. Walter Dent Husband, 72, of Raleigh, died Thursday, October 20, 1988 at Smith County General Hospital in Raleigh. The Smith County native was a retired night watchman with Raleigh Corp. and a mason with Cohay Lodge and Eastern Star Chapter Funeral services were held Saturday, October 22, 1988 at 11 a.m.

at First Baptist Church of Raleigh with Rev. Gene Young and Rev. Max Price officiating. Smith County Funeral Home of Raleigh and burial was at North Raleigh Cemetery. Survivors include his wife, Mrs.

Cora Mae Husband of Raleigh: 3 sons, Bobby Dean Husband of Rockwood, Jerald D. Husband, Sr. of Pearl; Joe Thomas Husband of Raleigh: 1 sister, Myrtle Thornton of Raleigh; 10 grandchildren and 2 great- grandchildren. Mr. James Earl Williams Mr.

James Earl Williams, 73, of Pinola, died at his residence Thursday, October 20, 1988. The Louisiana native was a WWII Veteran, a retired farmer and a member of Strong River Baptist Church. Funeral services were conducted Friday, October 21, 1988 at 10 a.m. at Upton Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Joe Stovall officiating.

Upton Funeral Home of Mendenhall was in charge of arrangements and burial was at Strong River Cemetery. Survivors include one daughter, Mrs. Shirley Chilton of Byran, 3 sisters, Mrs. Willie Mae Wigley of Mendenhall, Mrs. Merle Orman of Mendenhall, and Mrs.

Powell, 63, of Mize, died Sunday, October 23, 1988 at Smith County General Hospital. The Smith County resident was retired from Universal Mfg. Co. and a member of Rose Hill Baptist Church. Funeral services were conducted Tuesday, October 24, 1988 with Rev.

Zula Ruth Mullins, 79, of Baton Rouge, died Saturday, October 22, 1988, in Baton Rouge. The Smith county resident was a housewife. Funeral services were conducted Monday, October 24, 1988 at 2 p.m. at Zion Hill Baptist Church with Rev. Heard and Rev.

Judean Purser officiating. Colonial Chapel Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements and burial was at Zion Hill Cemetery in Mize. Survivors include 2 sons, James D. and Billy Gunter of Mize; 1 daughter, Mrs. Frances Byrd of Baton Rouge; 1 brother, Frank Adams of Raleigh; 3 sisters, Roma Anderson of Alabama, Viola Lloyd of Alabama, and Elva Thompson of Taylorsville; 8 grandchildren and 9 great -grandchildren.

Mrs. Ethel Mae Cook Mrs. Ethel Mae Cook, 59, of Magee, died Thursday, October 20, 1988 at Ms. Baptist Medical Center in Jackson. The Simpson county native was a housewife and a member of Goshen Baptist Church.

Funeral services were conducted Friday, October 21, at 4 p.m. at Magee Colonial Chapel with Rev. W.P. Blair and Billy Guest officiating. Survivors include one son, Joseph Robert Crisler, Jr. of Raleigh, and one daughter, Melody Crisler of Raleigh; father Mr. Howard Bowen and mother Mrs. Eunice Bowen of Raleigh; 5 brothers, Eddie Howard Bowen, David Randall Bowen, Jerrel Timothy Bowen, Jonathon Paul Bowen, all of Raleigh, Carlis Frank Bowen of Sylvarena; 3 sisters, Johnnie Ruth Hayes of Taylorsville, Mary Alice Nanny of Poplarville, and Eunice Abigail Crosby of Hattiesburg.
