THE BAYTOWNSUN Wednesday, April 19, 1972 25 Lee College Spring Choir Concert Slated For Tuesday The Lee College Choir will 0ve their spring concert at p.m. Tuesday in the Wai- tar Rundell Hall Auditorium. Ifce concert will be devoted to Ike works of Brahms. -There will be no admission charge. Members of the LC choir are Becky Barker, Fannie Turner, Becky Zubik, Beverly De.

TRIP Christy Behrens, president ol Phi Theta Kappa, and Margaret Dooley, secretary, went to Minnesota last weekend for the National Convention. They visited the Mayo Clinic heard political candidates and elected the national officers. CIRCLE K-ETTES The Circle K-ettes have re- scheduled their car wash to April 29 at Grace Methodist Church. Jan Milner is the Circle K. ettes' president.

PHI THETA KAPPA The LC honor fraternity, Phi Theta Kappa, elected officers at their first meeting. Elaine Johnson was elected vice president; Debbie Gieger treasurer; Curtis Crawford parliamentarian and Gayla Greer, historian: They discussed a speaker for the next meeting and scholar ships offered by the University of Houston branch of the fra ternity. Members of the fraternity are Curtis Crawford, Jerry Van Brocklin, Cathy Hastings Thelma Green, Luther Green Dale Williams, Laura Hall Uana Macon, Debbie Geiger, Sherry Evard. Also, Jimmy Vaught, Cindy Marek, Dan Peters, Susan Me- Phaii, Linda Reineke, Tana West, Carol Meyer, Patti Kunz, Alice Roelse. Also, Marsha Scale, Elaine Johnson, Rebecca Tidmon, Beverly Guy, Gayla Greer, Larry Shook, Sally Simmons, Mary Walker and Delane Cathriner.

Ted Olsen is the club sponsor. BOWLING The LC bowline team met with Galveston College, in Galveston, for 2 tournament between the two schools. The only first place attained was by Nancy Young and Micki Farmer for doubles' high score. The next bowling tournament for LC is to be played in Baytown. CONNALLY Lieutenant Governor candidate, Wayne Connally, talked to students and faculty at LC SWIMMING LC swimmers will enter the Fourth Annual Texas College Women and Reserve Men Swimming and Diving State Championships in San Antonio Friday.

The swimming team is coached by Ron Ummel. CONTENTION Mary Walker and Delane Cathriner, delegates from the LC Phi Tleta Kappa fraternity, attended the state convention. They met with other delegates in their district ar.d organized a beach party for Phi Theta Kappa members in the district. They also heard Senator John Tower speak. LC participated in intramu- rals in Alvin.

Winners in the table tennis singles were Sang Chanason, First place; Will Budd, second, and Fusayo Fukado, third. Winners in the badminton singles were Petra Washburn, Irst, and Raylene Wyatt, second. Winners in the badminton doubles were Kathy Fanestie! and Kathy Wilkinson, second. The volleyball team won second place in the tournament. In the archer) 1 event, the women's team won second place.

Ralph Lowery won second place in the men's individual category of the archery event. VOLLEYBALL The LC volleyball team will attend the co-ed beach volley- jail tournament in Galveston Friday. ACT TEST The American College Test will be administered beginning at 8 a.m. Saturday. ANNUAL Any club or organization wishing to purchase pages in the LC annual, who has not already done so, should contact Joyce Anderson in Room 120 of Walter Rundell Hall.

SCHOOL The Pipeline School of Technology begins Monday in the Technical Vocational Building and will continue through May 26. TJCAC LC will participate in thuj Texas Junior College Athletic! Conference golf and tennis' tournament to be held Monday LINDA CASSITY Teen News Editor and Tuesday in Temple.
