Dean's List scholars must obtain at least a 3.0 grade point average. FBC to hold celebration There will be a God and Country Celebration at Forest Baptist Church on Sunday, July 3, at 11 a.m.

Macy Watkins, Flagstaff, AZ; one foster daughter, Mrs. Edna Mae Hayes. Philadelphia; one step-daughter, Julia Mae Pome, Prichard, AL: a foster grandson, who she raised, Terry Pace; and foster grandchildren. Pallbearers were James Lofton, David Lofton. Hind Lofton, Frankie B.

Purvis Moore officiated. Mr. Eleby passed away on Tuesday, June 14, 1968. He was an employee of the railroad for thirty -three years. Survivors include one brother, Will Eleby, Decatur; three sisters.

Miss Mary Jane Eleby, Bessie Eleby Evans, both of Decatur, Mrs. Irene Eleby Nichols. Hickory; one brother, Robert Eleby and two sisters, Daisy Eleby Kidd and Corine Eleby Gallaspy. preceded him in death. were family and friends.

Interment was made in the Burns Baptist Cemetery in Smith County. Mrs. Burns passed away on Thursday, June 23, 1908, at the Leake County Memorial Hospital in Carthage. She was a resident of the Burns Community all of her She was a member of the Burns Baptist Church. Survivors include her husband, William Thomas Burns, Burns; one daughter, Mrs.

Survivors include one son. William Calvin Lewis, Sulphur Springs, TX; two daughters, Mrs. Marian Kaye Briethaupt, McComb, Mrs. Polly Faye White, Liberty: one sister, Mrs. Allene Creel, Pulaski: and eight grandchildren.

Mrs. Waggoner passed away Sunday, June 19, 1968, at the West Scott Baptist Hospital. A native of Smith County, she had been a resident of Morton for the past 39 years. She was a member of the Two Miles Baptist Church in Morton. Survivors include her husband.

Prior to ber retirement she was employed as a nurse with the Warren Jones, M.D. Clinic. Mrs. Greener servered WWII and the Korean Conflict the Army Nurse Corp. She was a member Mississippi State Nurses Association.
