From the wisecrack in every sentence, to each smashing curtain line, this satirical play is loaded with plenty of action. The play will be presented March 3, 4 and 5. Thurman Rowlett is the drama instructor. FILMS The LC film series presented the highly acclaimed film Blow Up" Jan 27 in the uditorium.

The film, starring David Hemmings, Vanessa Redgrave and Sarah Miles was one of a series sponsored by the college. Admission is free, and the next film will be shown next month. Dale Adams is in charge of the series. SWIMMING He will offer general information about the Marine Corps. BSU The Baptist Student Union at LC has been very busy this year.

Each Thursday the organization sponsors a 25 cent luncheon from to 1 p.m. at the Baptist Student Union. At these luncheons, pamphlets and new testaments are given out. This is done in connection with the BSU's all over the country as a type of witnessing on campus. At these meetings there is a guest speaker who explains the literature given out.

At 7 p.m. on Thursday, the organization meets to discuss the topic brought up at the afternoon session. The organization has formed a choral folk group. The members are Terrie Thompson, John Savell, David Killer, Pat Barfield and Debbie Crow, guitarist. The union is also planning a trip to Brownville during the spring break.

Members of the team are Bill Taylor, Tony Boyle, Micki Susan Ziegler, John Cappleman, Gary Woods. Kathy SG The Student Government at LC has been plagued with not only exessive resignations but financial problems. Paul Cantu, sophomore president resigned from the post at the last meeting. His position and other vacated posts will be discussed at the next meeting.

The SG sponsored concert, featuring Trapeze, has posed the financial problems. Ross Sterling High School, where the concert was held, is asking for $1,800 in damages. This sum includes auditorium rental, a fee for a professional cleaning crew and replacement of carpeting. A motion was made at the meeting to negotiate for a ower fee.
