Grif- fM, our president, forgot the meeting, we missed you. Mrs. Floy Col. Vln vice president was in charge of the meeting which was opened with a reading of club collect, roll call by secretary Mrs. Eva Green, answered by what you have done for your neighbor.

Report by other members on Gardens, Family Life, Nutrition, Refreshment were served by Mrs. Bryant and Mrs. Calvin Brewster. Next meeting will be With Mrs. Trueft in May.

Mrs. Guthrie and Miss Mary Jo Truett were visitors in New Orleans with their daughter and sis- ler Clinton and family from Tuesday until Saturday of last week and report a wonderful time. They found Clinton much improved Mrs. Truett and Mary Jo visited with Mr. and Mrs.

Roy Wade and Mrs. T. T. Wade Sunday after- moon. Mr.

and Mrs. John White and children were down Sunday. Lola -and children of Ruston, Nina and Jerry and children 1 of Simsboro. Lola and Nina finished dinner, and had it on the table when Loye and John returned frtom church. Mr.

and Mrs. R. B. Atkins and family visited with Mr. and Mrs.

R. D. Pylant Sunday. Razen Pylant with the Ruston High School band went to a marine festival in Lake Charles Saturday and returned Sunday night. They went on a sight seeing tour Sunday visiting Evangellne State Park artd Jungle Gardens.

Mrs. Etter Calhon, son Early. Mr. Tom Calhoun, Mrs. Vera Colvin visited her son Hubert and family of Newton, Texas last week.

Also Grandson 1 Eugene and family returned home Wednesday. Mrs. Mamie Smith's, granddaughter Pattie is: still out of school part time. Mr. 0.

Our junior club won first in Ihe junior talent show.

In the junior club, Mary Jo Ossenheck received some awards lor Achievement Day. In the senior club; Penny Knowles, Dickie Lewis, William Green, Sandra Aycock, Bruce Waller, Madison Beckham, and Mickey Waller collected awards. Dickie Lewis and William Green received 4-H jackets. The Dubach Senior Club received the Senior Trophy as the outstanding senior 4-H club. This Thursday, our boys play Bem'ice here.

Ya'll come and cheer 'em on. In the games last week, we beat Linvillo 4-1 and Fair Park beat us 3-0. This leaves Dubach with a 12-4 won-lost record. Everyone Is busy now getting ready for (he Junior-Senior Banquet, which is this Friday night. I We are really lookin'g forward it.

Serving the groom as best man was Mr. Bill Willis, and usher- groomsmen were Jim Pack, Bill Sutton, and Rod Duchosne. RECEPTION Following the cxchan'ge of vows, Mr.

and Mrs. Rostron were hosts at a reception honoring their daughter and son-in-law at the church. The tiered wedding confection decorated with cascades of white roses was served by Miss Carolyn 1 Fowler, while Miss Lucia Abegg presided at the punch service. Miss Ronee Cameron, sister of the groom, was seated at the bride's register. For her daughter's wedding, Mrs.

Rostron chose a dress of beige embroidered linen. She wore beige accessories and her corsage was of pink linen. Following the wedding, the n'ew- ly-married couple departed for a short wedding trip.

Ladymon organized a new company for the purpose of acquiring fivo of the stores founded many years ago by the late H. A. Nichols. This new company became a joint venture between these two men and a small group of stockholders. The five existing stores then in operation were on the Greenwood Road in Shreveport and in the Louisiana towns of Mindcn, Rustorf, Jonesboro and Mansfield.

This new venture was given the corporate name of F. Beall Company, 1 with W. F. Beall, President, and R. C.

Ladymon, Vice-President. Following Mr. Beall's death in 1953 i R. C. Ladymon was elected President and serves in this office today.
