Edgar (iiles gave the Stewardship lesson and led in prayer. The Caswell Circle met with Mrs. A. (i. Stevens with six members present and visitor, Mrs.

Stuart gave the Mission Study lesson. Thirteen members of the Chiles Circle went to the First Baptist Chinch in Itta Bena to hear the Uev. Ilyniun Appel-man. Eight members of the Henderson Circle also beard the Uev. Appelman.

The England Circle, having seven members present, met at the church. Mrs. Claud French gave the Current topics from the Mission Magazines. Members of the Garrard Circle met with Mrs. Iirooksher Gee with nine members present.

Mrs. L. P. Quinn gave the Mission Study lesson and Mrs. L.

V. McClure led in prayer. Mrs. G. P.

Reno gave the devotional. Mrs. J. L. Has Appendectomy Miss Elsie Harlan of 1312 Dewey Street, underwent an appendectomy at the Greenwood lA'florc Hospital yesterday. She is reported resting well today.

Her brother, Critz Harlan with the U. S. Navy, stationed at Millington, spent the week-end at home to be with his sister. '5 Joins Re-union Mrs. T.

There were 9 members, and one visitor, Mrs. A. C. Sexton, present. Mrs.

Tom Flowers gave the devotional, and the Mission Study was given by Mrs. E. E. Farrar. Circle 6 met with Mrs.

F. C. Horner. There were 17 members and one visitor, Mrs. Horner's mother, Mrs.

Ayres, present. The devotional was given by Mrs. John Bealle. Mrs. E.

S. Bowlus gave the Mission Study. Circle 7 met with Mrs. F. O.

Braley, with 8 members present. Mrs. Roy Grisham gave the devotional. Mrs. R.

V. Porter the Mission Study. Circle 8 met with Mrs. R. B.

Schlater. There were 10 members present. Mrs. T. J.

Curry gave the devotional. The Mission Study was given by Mrs. R. V. Pollard.

traveling with members of Mrs. Bailey's State Executive Committee, consisting of civic leaders, and will visit here during the campaign. 5 "5 Business Women Enjoy Program Members of the Business Women's: Circle of the First Baptist Church were served a delightful supper last night by the England Circle, following which Miss Gertie Toler, chairman, opened the meeting with a prayer. Miss Toler presented Miss Frances Dale, Royal Service chairman, who had arranged an excellent program, the subject of which was "Everlasting Kingdom in the Land of Its Beginning" and which was given in the form of a radio broadcast. As a fitting preface Miss Dale read scripture from 1st Corinthians, 17th Chapter, and the 1 22nd Psalm.

Taking part in the "broadcast" were Misses Leatrice Ran-dle, Sara Whitten, Stella Mae Stoker, Catharine Brand, Lena Burns and Johnny Bell Carra-way. The meeting was brought to a conclusion with a prayer by Miss Mary Newman. i Nancy Ellen Gwin Lt. and Mrs. Elmer VV.
