Sunday night study of the book of Romans is really good, we invite you to attend. Jimmy Hairgard had a birthday and was honored with a plaque for his church treasury work for several years. Which has been a job well done. Exodus 40 says, "According to all that the Lord had commanded (Moses) so he did." The words of scripture arc meant for our protection, correction and direction.

The Wayman family needs our prayers as they try to get life going after the loss of their loved one. Thursday night was a special night at our October Fest Revival services. Bro. Jerry Doggett, pastor of Macedonia Baptist Church and a Stonewall native, brought a very inspiring message. Everyone enjoyed the services and we welcomed visitors from other churches and communities.

The young people enjoyed a hot dog feast afterwards. Everyone is invited to worship with us at First Baptist Church as we begin our revival services on October 17-20, with evangelist Danny Lanier and Bro. C.C. Burns. Stanley Phillips is doing fine after surgery in Jackson.

By the time this issue is out Stanley will be home. Please continue to from the hospital and we are thankful. Pray for her recovery and for Mrs. Edna McDonald, as she cares for Mrs. Hatley and Maxine.

Granddaughter, Taylor has been a little under the weather due to weather changes and her bronchial problems, but she still wasn't convinced she needed to stay inside. We send a message of sympathy and our prayers to the Rascoe family, on the death of Huey Rascoe. He was the brother of Mr. Willie and Johnny Rascoe. May God bless all of you.

Let us continue to pray for Mrs. Ruth Ivey, Dot Crane and Gary Overby. The rain was so refreshing and much needed. God is good and sees our every need. The nice cool nights sure are good for sleeping.

The bench crew at Super Stop enjoyed a special birthday celebration on October 14th. It was the birthday of our bench chief, Charles Smith, who turned 65. Everyone enjoyed the party catered by Ron Stephenson. Charles we hope that you had a good day and will enjoy many more. Belated birthday greetings to Susan Allen.
