10A MONDAY, GREEN BAY PRESS-GAZETTE GREENBAYPRESSGAZETTE.COM REGION Ralph E. Hansen, 78, Ho ward, died peacefully Thursda Oct. 20, 2016. He was born Sept 17, 1938 in Suring, WI to John and Mar Rose (Lemke) Hansen. After graduation from Sur ing High School, Ralph ser ved his country in the U.

S. Air Force. On Feb 4, 1961, Ralph was united in mar riage to Diane M. Trever in Green Bay. Ralph was em ployed by Wisconsin Public Service for 39 until his retirement in 2002.

In his retirement, Ralph went to work for his son at Hansen Pallet in New Franke until retiring in 2013. Ra lph was a charter member of Graceway Fellowship. He taught his family to love and respect nature and shared with them his lo ve of shing and hunting in all seasons. Ralph wa also an accomplished wo odworker. For many ye ars, Ralph owned and operat ed Jennifer Christmas tree farm in Suring.

The love of life was his family. He dearly loved his wife, children grand- ch ildren and great grand- ch ildren. Ralph is survived by his wife, Diane; a son, Sco tt Hansen; A daugh- te and son-in-law, Linda and David Langer; eight gr andchildren and their spouses, Rebecca (Matt), Andr ea (Jacob), Sarah (Jor dan), Matthew (Kira), Be th, Stephanie (Adam), Br ianna and Katie; six gr eat grandchildren; two st ep great grandchil- dr en and another on the wa two brothers and sis ters-in-law, John and Rita Hansen, Bruce and Lois Hansen; a sister and brother-in-law, Kat hleen and Barry Ganther; numerous nieces, nephe ws and other relatives and friends. Ralph was preceded in death by his parents. Friends may call at Graceway Fellows hip, 1750 Dousman Street from 9 until 11 a.m.

Tuesday. A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesda at the church with the Re v. Rick Schulze iciating. Burial will follow immediately after the funeral at Hickory Cemetery in Suring with on-in- law, Rev.

A memorial fund has been established to bene research. Blaney Funeral Home is assisting the family. To send online condolences, please go to www.Blane y- FuneralHome.com Hansen, Ralph E. Lloyd Peter Smits, 95, Ashwaubenon, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, Oct. 21, 2016 at his home.

The son of Peter Jacob and Henrietta (Linders) Smits was born on Dec. 13, 1920 in Ashwaubenon, Wisconsin. Lloyd completed all eight years of his education at Parkview School in Ashwaubenon. In July of 1945, he entered the U.S. Army, proudly serving his country in World War II.

Lloyd was in the 183rd Battalion Military Police and was stationed in the German cities of Mannheim and Frankfurt. Upon discharge in Feb. 1947, Lloyd married Jean T. Janssen. The nuptials took place at St.

Joseph Church, West De Pere, on Oct. 25, 1947. Lloyd lived his whole life in Ashwaubenon and retired from farming in 1974. Lloyd was a proud member of VFW Post 2113 and was often seen wearing his Veterans hat. Some of many hobbies included hunting, gardening, playing cards, spending time with his family and cheering for the Packers and Brewers.

His amazing sense of humor will be missed by all those who knew him. He will forever be in our hearts. Dad we love you! Survivors include his loving wife, Jean, of almost 69 years. three surviving sisters include: Dorothy Thomson, Adell Spreeman and Verna Mae Parins. He is further survived by six children: Gary (Judy), Max Colleen), Judy Rottier (Mike), Gloria VanderLogt (Mike), Glen (Julie) and Pete (Penny).

He is also survived by fourteen grandchildren and sixteen great grandchildren. His surviving three brother-in-laws are Dr. Willard Janssen, Eugene Spreeman, and Vernon Bruss and his one surviving sister-in-law is Betty Mae Bruss. He will also be sadly missed by many nieces and nephews. Lloyd was preceded in death by four siblings and their spouses: Roman (Gen), Clarence, Raymond (Lorraine) and Norma(John) Minten.

Five brother-in-laws: Joe Thomson, Mel Thomson, Conrad Berken and Celest (Sonny) Parins, Floyd Janssen, and one sister- in-law Mary Jo Janssen. Lloyd was also preceded in death by his son Paul Joseph and grandson Robert Gary Smits. Smits, Lloyd Peter Former Green Bay resident, Jeanne M. Kerrigan, bor Ribbens, died August 24, 2016, at home in Cota ti, CA, surrounded by fa mily and friends, of met- as tatic pancreatic cancer. Jeannie attended St. Mar of the Angels grade sc hool, Washington Junior High, and graduated from Wa upaca High School. She also attended University of Wisconsin, Green Bay.

A recovering addict and abuse survivor, Jeannie wr ote her autobiography, La yla, detailing her strug- gl and deep spiritual gr owth. This growth rst led her to become an alcohol and drug abuse counselor working for several rms in the Fox River Valle y. Further study in Santa Fe, New Mexico, led to th development of a form of energy therapy which incor porated physical, emo tional, and spiritual pr inciples. She called that Quantum Energy Therapy and helped clients heal as we ll as training others to become healers. In addition, she and friend Kather ine Patton established th non-pro organization, Revolution, to aid homeless children and wo men caught in the sex trade.

Jeannie is surviv ed by her sons, Robert Ribbens, Johnathan and Er ic Radcli by her mother Judith M. Ribbens, her sister, Julianne Asht on, brothers and siste rs-in- law, Je rey and Da wn Ribbens and Joseph and Joanne Ribbens and her uncle Father William Ribbens, O.Praem, and numerous cousins, nieces and nephews and th eir children. Preceding her in death are her son Joshua Ribbens, her brot hers Jacob and John C. Ribbens, father John W. ib- bens, aunts, an uncle and grandparents.

On Saturday, Nov ember 12, her birthday, a celebration of her life will be held at the Green Bay Wildlif Sanctuary Nature Cent er in the Woodland Ro om from p.m. On that same day, simultaneously, a celebration of her life will be held at Pleasant Hill Memorial Park, 1700 Pleasant Hill Road, Sebastopol, California. Debra Lynn Polster, 60, of Sturgeon Bay unexpectedly passed away peacefully in her home in the town of Gardner on October 21, 2016. She was born August 21, 1956 in Alabama to John and Ruby (Smith) Calhoun.

On June 18, 1977, she married Peter David Polster of Sturgeon Bay. Debra had a brilliant mind and higher education was signi cant to her. She was a proud high honors graduate of the social work program at the University of Wisconsin, Green Bay and spent time working in the eld in the therapist- social work role(s) for Door County and Bellin Psychiatric Center. Through her work, she helped an endless number of people. She loved her family very much and her grandchildren meant the world to her.

She would often tell them, that Grandma Loves You Debra enjoyed history and spent time discovering family tree lines through ancestry. Survivors include her husband Peter; two children, Robert (Amy) Polster, Luxemburg; Angela Polster (Jesus Jimenez), Tlaxcala, Mexico; ve grandchildren, Riley and Lexi Polster; Eric, Malintzi and So a Polster-Jimenez; her mother, Ruby Lee Redford, two sisters, Colleen Calhoun and Rosa (James) Lami, all of Alabama. She was preceded in death by her father and brother Dwayne. A memorial mass will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, October 29, 2016 at Corpus Christi Church, the Rev.

Polster, Debra Lynn Rose Steinhorst, age 94, of Denmark, passed away Saturday, October 22, 2016. The daughter of the late Joseph and Mary (Valenta) Lodel was born May 8, 1922 in Casco. She was raised in Tisch Mills, and on October 17, 1945, was united in marriage to John Steinhorst at St.

Mary Catholic Church in Tisch Mills. She was an active member of the Christian Mothers Altar Society at St. James Catholic Church where she also assisted with funeral dinners, and enjoyed playing cards and baking. Survivors include her children: Janice (Gerald) Kehoe, Glenn (Brenda) Steinhorst, Bill (Janice) Steinhorst, Jerome Steinhorst, Dan (Laurie) Steinhorst, Tom (Patti) Steinhorst, and Teresa (Wayne) Peebles; grandchildren: Kristina (William) Foudray, Julie (Robert) Gaulke, Ken (Heather) Kehoe, Renae (Mark) Freund, Michael Steinhorst (friend Danielle Bertrand), Jackie (Jeremy) Holm, David (Sara) Steinhorst, Cathy (Steven) Lentz, Sara (Andy) Mancheski, Tami Steinhorst, Ryan Steinhorst, Trina (Mike) Ellison, Jon Steinhorst; great-grandchildren: Tien, Kael, Everett and Elias Foudray, Brianna, Jordan and Kayla Gaulke, Forrest Kehoe, and a baby Freund on the way in April, Evan and Alex Holm, Dakota and Abigail Steinhorst, Avery and Owen Lentz, Steven Leiterman, Lauren and Bennett Mancheski, Peyton and Brody Ellison, as well as cousins, nieces, nephews, other family and friends. Steinhorst, Rose Velma Conto, 80, Green Bay, died Saturday, October 22, 2016. Funeral arrangements are incomplete and will be announced by Blaney Funeral Home. Conto, Velma Nathan M. Laurent, 14 of Luxemburg died unexpectedly Friday evening, October 21, 2016.

He was born May 06, 2002 in Green Bay to Brian M. and Jackie J. (Lardinois) Laurent. Nathan was an outstanding student with a passion for reading. He was a student of Luxemburg-Casco High School and a member of the high school math team.

He was also involved in Cub Scouts and Boy Scouts. Nathan enjoyed camping, shing, playing tennis and ping pong. He loved to watch movies and was a huge Star Wars fan. Survivors include his parents, Brian and Jackie Laurent; his sister, Amanda Laurent, at home; his paternal grandparents, Ron and Janet Laurent, Luxemburg; his maternal grandparents, Orville and Judy Lardinois, New Franken; his uncles and his aunts, Kevin and Kate Laurent, Seymour; Steven and Anne Laurent, Green Bay; Holly and Chad Walton, Luxemburg; Angel Wertel, Denmark; many cousins, great uncles, great aunts and friends. Nathan was preceded in death by his great grand parents, great aunts and great uncles, especially Lee Laurent.
