Author of more than a dozen books Dr. Nygaard is perhaps best known for his "Strength For Service To God And Country," which was used by more than a million and a half soldiers and sailors during the late war. The pastor of the Encino Presbyterian church, Rev.

Scott T. Brewer was a member of Dr. Nygaard's congregation at the First Presbyterian church of Los Angeles prior to studying for the ministry. AUTHOR and preacher, the Rev. Norman E.

Nygaard, D. Litt.B., will present the sermon Sunday morning at First Presbyterian Church of Encino.
