WEDNESDAY, NOVEMBER 24, I I Thanksgiving Services Set Tonight, Tomorrow Tucsonians will attend church tonight and tomorrow to participate in Thanksgiving services. There will be no community service this year at the University of Arizona auditorium." Instead, the Tucson Council of Churches is sponsoring four Thanksgiving services. Threee of the services will be at 7:30 tonight at Rincon Congregational 122 N. Craycroft a St. Paul's Methodist 8051 E.

Broadway, and Chapel of Christ the King (Episcopal), 2800 W. Ina Road. At 10 a.m. tomorrow, the Tucson Council of Churches will sponsor a community service at the Catalina Methodist Church, 2700 E. Speedway Blvd.

At the Episcopal Church of St. Michael and All. Angels, the Holy Eucharist will be celebrated al 7, 9 and 10:30 a.m. tomorrow. The Eucharist will be sung at 10:30, with a brief homily.

The First Methodist Church will hold a special Thanksgiving Communion service between 7 and 8 o'clock tonight. St. Mark's Methodist Church has scheduled Mrs. Rita Beck Rosary Set For Mrs. Rita Beck Rosary will be recited at 8 p.m.

Frfday at Tucson Mortuary Chapel for Mrs. Rita Beck, a native Tucsonian and long time saleswoman at Sleinfeld's Department store. Mrs. Beck. 72, of 1048 E.

Edison died yesterday. After attending Tucson High School, Mrs. Beck began her career with Steinfeld's in 1918 and was soon established in the candy and cigar department where she was a familiar face until yer retirement in 1953. During World War II, Mrs. Beck was honored for her participation in the war bond program.

She sold more than $151,000 in bonds in one year and was honored in 1945 by presentation of four stars from a general's uniform for her part in promoting the bonds. Mrs. Beck was in SS Peter Paul Church. She served 15 years as an oblate for the 'Benedictine Chapel. Mrs.

Beck is survived by a son, Alex McGinn, and four grandchildren, all of Tucsn. Mass will be said at 10 a.m. Saturday at SS Peter Paul, and burial will follow at Holy Hope Cemetery. a 7:30 o'clock Union Thanksgiving Service tonight, to be held in Christ the King Chapel. Other Protestant services to be held tomorrow, include: at 10 a.m.--Faith Baptist Church, in the Elvira School, with the Rev.

Fred L. Pattison speaking on "Thanks for Fountain of Life Lutheran Church, where the Rev. Richard P. Mei- bohm's topic will be "A Christian Gives Thanks;" Faith Lu- theran Church, with Pastor Carl H. Harman conducting the service and Vicar Albert Isler preaching the and Spanish Trail Lutheran Church, where the Rev.

Erling H. Peterson will preach on "Garlands and Jewels." The 22nd Street a i Church will hold Thanksgiving services at 11 a.m. tomorrow. The Rev. Irving Childress will speak.

Sunnyside To Expand Vocational Program Sunnyside High School's vocational education department will begin offering classes in January on sheet metal and welding, auto mechanics, and carpentry and cabinet making. The new program was approved last night on a trial basis for one semester by the Sunnyside School Board. The board also voted to hire an additional teacher for the vocational department. The board will seek $4,542 in federal funds to help finance the trial program, which will be offered to seniors only. The courses will be an answer to the increased demand for more vocational classes at Sunnyside.

A committee will be appointed to evaluate reaction to the new courses and to help develop fu- ture vocational education courses for Sunnyside. The money will be used to purchase transcribers, duplicating and copying machines, tapes, an electric typewriter, and a steno laboratory. Troester also told the school board that the district's Head Start program cannot begin before April because federal funds are not available now. He predicted that the board's original request for $90.000 will be "reduced considerably." The actor said his grandchild is anticipated in July. Wayne said his wife, Filar, is expecting in April and his daughter, Toni, also is awaiting the birth of her child April 22, while, another daughter, Melinda expects a child in July. Sinclair, 10954 Pantano Trail. Jefferson and Tom McCormick, both of the Rural Fire Protection Service, were fighting the outbreak from a bathroom door when an explosion hurled them into a hallway. McCormick was unhurt. Mrs. Sinclair's maid, Maria Plores, 18, discovered the blaze in a television room and dashed from the seven-room home with Mrs.

Sinclair's 4-year-old son in her arms. Firemen said the $30,000 home was leveled. Damage to contents was estimated at about $20,000. Mrs. Sinclair and her two daughters were not at home when the fire started.

Cause is still under investigation, but sheriff's deputies said the outbreak possibly started from sparks from a fireplace. --AP WirePhotos Queen Elisabeth Belgium's Dowager Queen Dies BRUSSELS -UPJ- The dowager Queen Elizabeth, Belgium's "grand old lady," died in Stuy- venberg Palace yesterday of her second heart attack in three weeks. She was 89 years old. The dowager queen, an eccentric who loved classical music and the arts and sometimes upset her countrymen by flirting with the Communists, was the grandmother of Belgium's reigning King Baudouin, his brother Prince Albert, and his sister, the Grand Duchess Josephine Charlotte of Luxembourg. Funeral services will be held Tuesday in the Gothic Collegial Church of Saint Michel in the center of Brussels.

The queen will be buried beside her husband in the royal crypt near Laeken Palace in the suburbs. Flags throughout Belgium were lowered to half-staff. The dowager queen was the German-born widow of Belgium's King Albert who was killed in a climbing accident in the Ardennes in 1934.
