Here Are The Facts: J We con and will bring gas to Blytheville as cheap or cheaper than any outside concern. 4 5 We can bu V 3« '«m 'he «rne pipeline mentioned by the "as yet unorganized firm" at a recen. city council meeting— at the same low price, established by the Federal Power Commission. We have a second source of supply (Texas-Eastern Pipeline . A preliminary survey shows the overall cost of supplying BlythevHle with gas from this line will be as low or lower than bringing gas from a line almost half again as far away as the Texas-Eastern Line. But both sources will be thoroughly investigated from every standpoint so we can give Blytheville and the surrounding towns the lowest possible gas rates. The cheaper we can sell gas in Blytheville and elsewhere, the more we'll be able to sell. We couldn't use a franchise to sell anything if we couldn't sell it cheap enough for people to buy and use lots of it. There'll be no "double deal ing" in this game.
