Home. Frank P. Dimsa Introducing the 1962 Dodge Dart 440, first of the Action-Economy cars. A low-price, full-size Dodge that will outrun, out-economize most any car around. Compared to last year's model, the 1962 Dart will accelerate seven percent faster, and do it on five percent less fuel.

You get action and economy in the same automobile. Reason? Dead weight has been reduced to a minimum. Example? This year's automatic transmission (with V8 engines) weighs 60 pounds less than last Its case is made from a new alu minum alloy instead of cast iron. The new one is stronger, less bulky, and (good news for the man in the middle) allows a considerable reduction in the size of the front floor hump. Below is the front seat of the Dart 440.

It is chair-high for comfort. And notice the fold- down center armrest. Carrying four or five? Flip it down for the added comfort of a bucket seat. Carrying more? Flip it up for extra room. It's standard on every Dart 440 model.

The white car, in the picture above, is the Lancer GT, America's first Sports Compact. "GT" in Italian stands for Gran Turisrno, a smallish, fast car. That's exactly what the GT is.it carries four or five people in comfort. Corners flat. Handles Bucket seats up front, all vinyl upholstery, sill-to-sill and, of course, the sizzle! are standard equipment.

Every 1962 Dodge, full-size or compact, is fully rustproofed. Every one has a new quiet high- speed starter that puts less drain on the battery. Every one has Torsion-Aire suspension. There's not a car that rides better. And every 1962 Dodge will go 32,000 miles between grease jobs.

As always, the name Dodge on an automobile is your assurance of complete dependability. 3030 E. SPEEDWAY SEE IT AT. YOUR DEPENDABLE DODGE DEALER BILL BRECK DODGE, INC. A Rosary will be recited at p.m.
