-For Morning Fans- A Picnic at Breakfast Time-Why Not? Togtthernesi, with cool, fresh tlr, suaahine, hearty appetites, month-watering food and the early morning quiet can be yours to share in a picnic breakfast. Try eating outside with family or friends some sunny Sunday morning. Even the traditional bacon nod tfpwffl taste different when cooked out-of-doors on a fire. And as long as you're breaking with habit, says Kay Munsen, extension nutritionist at Iowa State University, not serve something new? For a change from the ard glass of orange jutee -take advantage of nutritious fresh fruits. Strawberries and cantaloupe are both high in Vitamin C.

Other fruit possibilities are fresh peaches, raspberries or sliced oranges. For a festive treat, cut off the top third of a watermelon. Scoop out the fruit in balls or chunks. Beef and Sprouts Make A Different Stroganoff By AILEEN CLAIRE A different beef Stroganoff combines Brussels sprouts with santeed meat and mushrooms, served over hot buttered noodles. BEEF'N SPROUT STROGANOFF boneless sirloin steak, about inch thick Butter or margarine 44 cap finely chopped onion 14 cap water pound fresh 'mushrooms, sliced, or 2 cans (3 oaaces) sliced mushrooms, drained 2 packages ounces each) frozen Brussels sprouts teaspoon pepper 1 teaspoon salt teaspoon basil leaves 8 ounces medium wide noodles (about 4 cups) tablespoon salt 3 quarts boiling water 14 cap white wine (optional) milk cups dairy sour cream i Slice steak diagonally i slices thick.

Place slices between two pieces of waxed paper or foil and pound with rolling pin until very thin. Cut into 3-inch strips. Set aside. Melt two tablespoons butter in large skillet Saute onion until crisp-tender. Add meat a brown on both sides.

Add cup water, cover and simmer 15 minutes. Add mushrooms, Brussels sprouts, pepper, salt and basil. Cover and simmer another 15 minutes or until sprouts a tender. Add water if needed. Meanwhile, add noodles and one tablespoon salt to rapidly boiling water so that water continues to boil.

Cook uncovered, stirring occasionally, until tender. Drain in cdander. Transfer to serving dish and mix with one tablespoon softened butter. meat-Brussels sprouts mixture around outside edge of serving dish, piling noodles in center. Cover and keep hot.

Add'wine to drippings in skillet. Bring to boil and simmer about 30 seconds. Add milk and heat almost to boiling. Remove from heat and blend hi sour cream. Spoon sauce over meat noodles.
