In a small bowl, combine flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt and pumpkin pie spice. Set aside. hi a large mixer bowl, beat butter and sugar until creamy. Add pumpkin, eggs and vanilla extract. Gradually add flour mixture.

Stir in chocolate morsels and nuts. Drop cookies by level tablespoonfuls onto well-greased cookie sheets.
