The Hagerstown Boys Club has a new executive director who took the job bectuse it's a challenge. Ted S. Baldwin rejected better-paying jobs ifl similar work in other cities. "There's a need here for someone who wants to get into the nitty gritty of this work," is how he explains the reasoning behind i decision. Technically, Baldwin is still on duty as a first lieutenant in the Army.

But is on the job part time at the Boys Club a a using ac cumulated leave. He i assume full time duties here in September. Before he entered the service hree years ago, a i worked as assistant executive director for the Evansville, Boys Club. That involved different kind of challenge, because the Evansville institution had been overrun witt junvenile delinquents and facec loss of United Fund support Baldwin doesn't claim to have put every hood in Evansville back on the road to gooc citizenship, but he met thai challenge successfully.
