military news Steve A. Koran SAN DIEGO, Calif. Navy Seaman Steve A. Koran, son of Mr. and Mrs.

George T. Koran, of 111 22nd St. Apt. 202, Roswell, N.M., has completed recruit training at the Naval Training Center here. The eight-week training cycle included study in seamanship, close order drill, Naval history and first aid.

He joined tfie Navy in August 1979. Debbie S.Schofield Debbie S. Schofield of Auto Route, Apt. 5, of Roswell, has become the newest member of the Air Force. She will study inventory management at Lowry Air Force Base in Denver, Colo.
