Edited by Name Name MOVIES Mr. Cranky wants killed 34 Quick picks36 By Miki Turner or RedEye LOS ANGELES Although gotten rid of the yellow track suit and that curious car, the carnage continues. Uma Thurman reprises her role Friday as The Bride in Bill, Vol. the much-anticipated sequel to Quentin excessively violent tale of a woman out to get revenge on those who tried to kill her on her wedding day. RedEye caught up with Thurman recently at the Four Seasons Hotel in Los Angeles.

The 33-year-old actress, whose real-life marital woes with husband Ethan Hawke have kept her in the news in between films, would not discuss the state of her union, but she did talk about her butt-kicking character, apparent foot fetish and feeling dirty. Playing an immoral assassin is not a typical role for a woman. What was the appeal for you? It was really a strange and interesting kind of challenge. The person fighting her way out of her grave, the person seeking revenge, the person taking a beating and coming back for more fearlessly, is woman and not your typical man. And for people to find that to be anti-feminine is interesting to me.

It was kind of skinny blond girls, one covered in garbage and the other one all decked out with an eye patch beating each other up inside a trailer. Does engaging in heated battles on screen make you feel sexy? Sexy, well, it depends on how much you like long, sharp instruments in your romantic activities, I guess! I quite say that samurai would be my weapon of choice in bed. There are more than a few shots of your feet in this film.

Does Tarantino have some sort of obsession with your feet? (laughs) No, I think me in particular. widely accused of having a foot fetish. In fact, many people commented during shooting that he could have released an entire version of the story solely on the foot shots that he had of all the shoed, unshoed. That was just part of his storytelling. I think he denies his foot fetish, but accused of it regularly.

It started with with that foot massage speech. Even though you took a year off to have your baby, committed a lot of time to this project. Are you glad finally over? When something is such a long process and eats up so much of your life, I kind of gave in to any relationship to urgency a long time MIKITURNERISAREDEYESPE CIALCONTRIBUTOR Uma assassin keeps her quest alive A role to die for was a really strange and interesting kind of Thurman says of her assassin role in REDEYE FRIDAY 32.
