By Marjorie David Tribune staff reporter The Golden Triangle, the Asian antiques and home-furnishings store in River North, is celebrating the holiday season with a Thai Holiday Market at its new North LaSalle Street warehouse.

The first annual event is designed to evoke the night markets of Thailand. Traditional Thai dancers and musicians will perform, skilled artisans will demonstrate the royal Thai art of fruit and vegetable carving. Dim sum, Thai pastries and tea will be served. a chance to shop for unique gift items, many created by young Thai designers working in natural materials from renewable resources. The market features specially priced gift items, including hand-embroidered silk scarves and runners, Thai crafts, custom-made table lamps from Asian artifacts and stocking stuffers.

The market is from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday at the warehouse, 325 N. LaSalle not far from the store, 72 W. Hubbard St.
