Some may forget you now that you re gone but, I will remember no matter how long. Love, Me CAIN-JOHNSON Rosalee Betty Cain was born in Chicago to her parents, Cleveland and Florence Lee Cain (Hare). After graduating from Crane High School, she worked first in retail, then for some time at the main post office until 1969. She was twice married and divorced. Her first husband wasFelton Johnson; her second was JamesJohnson.

She bore a son to Edward Earl Matthews; she bore a daughter to Felton Johnson. Rosalee was an extroverted, intelligent and generous woman. Unfortunately, much of her adult life she was disabled by mental illness. A heavy cigarette smoker she was diagnosed with lung cancer last year. She received excellent end- of-life care from Palliative Care Services of the North Shore; she died 29th, at Village Nursing home in Skokie.

Rosalee is survived by her mother and sisters, Laverne Boyce and Doris Reed. Her olderbrother, Cleveland Cain, and younger Ann Hill, are deceased. She leaves behind her daughter, Pela Selene Cain, and her son, Edward Earl Cain, and his wife, Dianne Harris, and their sons Nicholas Evan and Harrison Steven.
