Iopopfe was one of the original mtjm- bers of the 0-HQ-MAH Lodge, a ceremonial society of the Kiowa. Many of Mopope's paintings depict the ties of the 0-HO-MAH Lodge. Mopope devoted his life, to recording ihe customs of his people for posterity. The success of his endeavors is witnessed not only by the vast oeuvrc which he produced in his lifetime but by his tremendous influence upon aspiring Native American artists. Stephen Mopope's artistic achievements will continue to provide inspiration to scores of future artists.

Gallery hours are from 9 a.m. to p.m.. Tuesday through Saturday and 14:30 p.m. on Sundays. The museum is closed on-Mondays.
