TROY'S LOCK KEY SHOP New Mineral Find Reported Elizabeth The discovery of a new mineral among, the richly varied deposits of North Central New Jersey near the New York line has been announced by Edwin Skidmore of Mountainside. Mr. Skidmore, who has spent 13 years collecting minerological specimens, made the find as a result of ultra-violet light tests. The color revealed was a bright blue, a new one in the fluorescent pattern for New Jersey.

Chemical, spectra and other tests have been made of the mineral but the analysis has not been completed and its exact nature is yet to be determined, Mr. Skidmore said. Mr. Skidmore, a member of the committee of Trailside Museum in Watchung Reservation, has had an exhibit of fluorescent minerals at the museum which has attracted much attention for several years.
