Deep ditches are dug with a derrick crane owned by the city and all waste materials buried beneath the earth's surface.

The grounds of the incinerator prope have been changed into a spot of tropical beauty. Wide and level green lawns, with clumps of coconut and cabbage palms and other tropical trees planted in rarious portions of the large tract, greet the eyes of passersby today instead of piles of refuse as formerly, the city manager said. The entire incinerator plant has been painted with a rust-resisting aluminum paint and other improvements made to buildings and equipment. A revenue of 1,044. 42 was reported from salvage of junk and other operations.

ON E. LAS OLAS BLVD. Waiter And Gas Main Connections Installed In Preparation For Resurfacing Boulevard Travellers along East Las Olas Boulevard during the past few days have doubtless noticed the torn-up condition of the street and several gangs of workmen engaged in making water and gas main connections to abutting property lines in the western part of the highway. Turner said today, and the purpose is to make advance, water and gas connections to abutting upon boulevard for future use in advance of the re surfacing of the boulevard which is to' be done by the city shortly. It is the desire of the city officials to eliminate the former custom of having to tear up newly constructed street paving to make water or gas connections. The streets are seldom replaced so as to make the surface as level as previously, the city manager said. The gas company was requested ythe city to make contemplated gas connections to the various properties in advance of resurfacing operations, and has co-operated with the city of ficals. YOUNG CITRUS TREE SBEARINO FOR FIRST TIME Walsh, Velie, Bright and the anticipated project of Lochrie are suf ficient to enable one to look into the future. "Numerous truck farms will be found as usual spotting the land scape in protected areas. The poultry farms of Capt.

Earl Hendrick-son and Rex Kaufman will surprise those who have not seen that Ticin Ity recently. Complete Picture "The plan long since devised calls for a 3200 acre grove before the picture is completed. "A conversation with one of these men should ioiiow your trip out there. They will show you a horticultural library second to none in the states. Next will come sub stantial figures showing California production costs from 1)0 cents to 1.50 per box as against from 17 cents to 24 cents in the Davie section.

Again, no guess work, but signed figures from someone in authority.
