Pat Lopez seeks seat as supervisor Pat P. Lopez Jr. has resigned from the Law Enforcement Merit System Council and will run for the County Board of Supervisors from District Four. Lopez, who manages an insurance office in Tucson, served on the council for two years. He had been mentioned earlier as a possible supervisors candidate.

He was born and raised in Tucson and attended the University of Arizona. Straw Bubble meeting slated The Straw Bubble, a Junior Achievement (JA) company, will hold an open meeting at 7 p.m. today to expfain the process of the nonprofit organization and how high school student participants learn by doing.
