Pierre police said a highway patrolman stopped a vehicle for a minor traffic violation. The station will become KKRC, an "adult contemporary" station, when Red River Broadcasting Company Grand Forks, N.D., assumes ownership Monday from Deck Broadcasting, Dickinson, N.D. Deck owned the station since 1972. Stanley Deck, owner of Deck Broadcasting, would not reveal the sale price; he sold the station, he said, because "Red River was interested in getting into this market and they came up with a good price."
