Gretney St. Julian LAFAYETTE Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Monday in the Emmaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church in Lafayette for Gretney St. Julian, 59, who died Thursday night at his home in Lafayette. Burial will be in the church cemetery directed by Melancon Funeral Home of Carencro.

Survivors include his wife, the former Ruby Arceane aux of Lafayette; three daughters, Mrs. Othus (Dorothy) Doomes, Mrs. David (Lillie) Brown, Mrs. Edward (Helen) DeRouselle, all of Lafayette; four brothers, Ulysse, James, and Nelson, all of Lafayette and Joseph of Houston, Texas; two sisters, Lorena St. Julian Lafayette and Hazel St.

Julian of Houston, Texas; and three grandchildren. A rosary will be said at 8 p.m. Sunday at the Funeral Home. Alyce Gianfala CHURCH POINT Funeral services were held at 1:30 p.m. Saturday at Our Lady of Sacred Heart Church of Church Point for Mrs.

Alyce Gianfala, former Alyce Bernard, 60, of Church Point who died at 9 p.m. Thursday at her residence. Burial was held in the church cemetery directed by Guidry's Funeral Home of Church Point. Survivors include two sons, Kenneth Gianfala of Church Point and Byron Gianfala of Lafayette; one daughter, Mrs. Louis Hebert of Breaux Bridge and five grandchildren.

George Jeffery CECILIA Last rites will be held at 11 a.m. Monday in St. Rose Lima Catholic Church here for George Jeffery, 49, of Breaux Bridge, who died at Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital in Lafayette at 9:30 a.m. Wednesday. Burial in the church cemetery and directed by Pellerin Funeral Home of Breaux Bridge.

Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Celestine Joseph Jeffery of Breaux Bridge; three sons, Rickey, Russel and Raynall Jeffery, all of Breaux Bridge; three daughters, Linda and Brenda Jeffery, both of Breaux Bridge and Mrs. Seanna Rideaux of Carencro; his mother, Mrs. Rosane Kilchrist Jeffery of Carencro; one brother, C.J. Jeffery of Carencro; five sisters, Rita Berard, Octave Cormier and Hazel Bonnet, all of Lafayette, Ethel Eaglain of Kinder and Estelle Marks of Carencro.

The U.S. State Department is also involved in the investigation, the Baton Rouge Morning Advocate reported Friday. U.S. Attorney Donald Beckner of Baton Rouge said the drug ring cracked in Monday night's raid was international in its pope."
