MAY 7, 2001 THE SAUNA JOURNAL • SPOTLIGHT — Placing third in the uniform inspection were Den 1 members (from left) Michael O'Donneii, Jake Thompson, Clay Koochel, Spencer Griffin, Cody Yost and Garrett Sager. Placing second in the uniform inspection were Den 4 members (from left) John Hall, Fraser Egan, Lucas Alien, Andrew Johnson, Gus Applequist, Blaine Bengtson and Lee Wiener. Dens in Cub Scout Pack 29 pass inspection and win awards Meadowlark Ridge Cub Scout Pack 29 held a uniform inspection at its April meeting. The three highest-scoring dens received ribbons and chocolate bunnies. Den 5 was first, Den 4 was second and Den 1 was third. Members also received achievement awards. Lightning Den: Joel Cranmer, Andy Knak, David Reid and Levi Winkelman earned webelos and scientist badges. Curtis Peacock earned the scientist badge. Scorpion Den: Danny Backes earned the bear badge; gold and a silver arrow point and fishing and music belt loops. Sander Bryan earned the bear badge, gold and silver arrow points and the music belt loop. Blake Lundgrin earned the bear badge, gold and six silver arrow points and the music belt loop. John Oerter earned the bear badge, a gold and two silver arrow points and the music belt loop. Sam Stuewe earned the music belt loop. Colin Weis earned bear and the music belt loop. Chris Young earned bear and the music belt loop. Den 4: Lucas Allen earned marbles, physical fitness, computers, and skiing belt loops. Gus Applequist, Blaine Bengtson and Andrew Johnson earned marbles and computers belt loops. Fraser Egan earned golf, marbles, swimming, and computers belt loops. John Hall earned chess, marbles, soccer, and computers belt loops. Lee Weiner earned marbles, soccer, and computers belt loops. Den 1: Stefan 'Coble earned the bear badge, a gold arrow point and the skating belt loop. Spencer Griffin earned the bobcat badge, basketball and soccer belt loops. Clay Koochel earned the bear badge, gold and silver arrow points and skating and skiing belt loops. Michael O'Donneii earned the bear badge. Jake Thompson earned the bear badge, a gold and four silver arrow points and the skating belt loop. Garrett Sager earned the bear badge, a gold and two silver arrow points. Cody Yost earned the bear badge, a gold arrow point and the skating and soccer belt loops. Den 2: Alex Cruzpagan earned the Wolf Badge, a gold and three silver arrow points. Michael Hoffart earned the wolf badge, a gold and two silver arrow points. Ryan Johnson earned the wolf badge, a gold and two silver arrow points and baseball, gymnastics and skating belt loops. Brady Kauer earned the wolf badge, a gold and two silver arrow points and the gymnastics, skating, and skiing belt loops. Steve Olson earned the wolf badge, a gold and three silver arrow points and the skating belt loops. Will Putzier earned the wolf badge; a gold and two silver arrow points, and the gymnastics, skating, tennis, and skiing belt loops. Den 5: Kevin Knak earned the wolf badge, a gold arrow point and a basketball and golf belt loops. Stephen Lamer earned the wolf badge, gold and silver arrow points and basketball and golf belt loops.
