AKEOT? BEACOU JOTTBNAL. WED1JHSDAY ETCHING. FEB AST 25. 1903- 6TX TT BLIND BILL FOR l) ilVil IMi IfiX II JlJJt PASSES HOUSE BY 80 ITS PAINS AND ACHES CAUSED BY URIC ACID IN THE BLOOD Rheumatism is in.reality an internal inflammation. It is caused by an excess of uric? ftcid and other irritating foreign matter in the blood, which has gotten into the circulation because of indigestion, chronic bowel disturbance, weak kidneys, and a general impaired and sluggish condition of the system.

The or waste matter of the body, which should be carried oil by the usual avenues of bodily drainage, is left in the system because of these irregularities, and it ferments and sours, iorming uric acid and other impurities, which are absorbed into, the blood Then this vital fluid loses its powers of nutrition and healthfulness and becomes a weak, acid-laden stream, which, as it circulates through the bodv, deposits the poisons and acids A. B. Cross, who has been a champion (or relief of the blind in and out of season, received the gratifying news by telephone from Representative E. B- Harper Tuesday afternoon that the Harper bill for the 1 relief of the blind had passed the house by a majority of 80, with only five adverse votes. "I am too full for utterance," Mr- with which is filled into the muscles, nerves, joints and bones.

This causes inflammation i and soreness, and soon the pains and aches commence; the joints swell, the flesh grows sensitive and tender, and Rheumatism is established in the system. Cross declared when asked what he thought of the action of the house. The bill carries a pension of $150 per year for the worthy blind. Mr-Cross stated that he was assured that the bill would pass the senate, and the promise of the governor to sign the 'bill has been secured. A previous law to pension the blind was declared unconstitutional by the supreme court, but it is hoped by those to be benefited that the objections have been overcome in the new bill.

PENSION DEFT FOB. B. 0. EMPLOYES I he progress oi itheumatism is usually gradual; day after day the blood continues to distribute the uric acid throughout the body, and slowly but surely the disease grows worse, The little pains tugging at the muscles, or wandering from joint to joint, which were the first symptoms of the disease, now become chronic and cause more intense suffering, the muscles tense and drawn, the lubricating oiknd fluids which aid the joints to work smoothly and easily are gradually destroyed by the continuous stream of acrid matter from the blood, and after awhile the limbs may become stiff and useless. You can never conquer this deep-seated disease with external treatment, such as plasters, liniments, blisters, etc.

These may JOINTS INFLAMED AND SWOLLEN. Six years ago I had severe attack of Inflammatory Rheumatism. I was laid up in bed for six months, and the doctors I had did me no good. They changed medicines every week, and nothing they prescribed seemed to help me. Finally I left off their medicine and began the use of S.

S. S. My knees and elbow joints were swollen and at one time i my joints were so swollen and painful that I could not close them when open. I was so bad that I could not move knee or foot; in fact, I had one of the severest cases of Rheumatism I ever heard of. I was getting discouraged, you may be sure, when I began S.

S. but as I saw it was helping me I continued it, and today I am a sound, well man, and I ave never had a return of the disease. S. S. S.

relieved the swelling and inflammation, purified my blood and cured me of this severe case of Inflammatory Rheumatism after everything else had failed. I have recommended it to others with good results, and know that it is a sure cure for Rheumatism. R. H. CHAPMAN.

Barberton, Feb. 26.

One of Barberton's new constables has decided that-golden rule methods are costly. Large-hearted-ness may be all right when the collection box comes around in church, but not in the constable business, is the conclusion he comes to, as he wraps his second best overcoat about him and wonders where the man with his new garment is. It happened when the new constable made his first arrest. The man was taken into court, but the sentence was suspended on good behavior. With every imaginable promise for his future conduct and his good wiil toward all officers of the law, the man started out into the storm.

He had two miles to walk in the blizzard and was thinly clothed. The kindly constable's heart was touched, and he gave the man his own over- coat, on his promise to bring it back the next day.
