Opelousas, June 25, 1972. Romain Fruge Sr. Rites Today in St. Joseph's CECILIA Funeral services will be held today at 5 p.m. in the St.

Joseph Catholic Church for Romain C. Fruge Sr. 70. who died at St. Luke's General Hospital Saturday at 1:30 p.m.

He was a resident of Arnaudville. Burial will be in the St. Francis Regis Cemetery with Pellerin Funeral Home in charge. He is survived by his wife the former Adell Hardy. Arnaudville, one son.

At approximately 1:50 p.m. Saturday, motorists were proceeding east on U.S. 190. about five miles east of Eunice. Tic.

R.E. Venable was told that an unidentified vehicle following Collins scooter suddenly darted into the path of Stevens car. Stevens reportedly swerved to avoid a collision with the unidentified car and struck Collins' scooter. the trooper said. Collins was ejected from the three-wheel vehicle in the impact.

Stevens car plowed into a bridge railing. Both drivers were taken to the Moosa Memorial Hospital in Eunice for treatement. Collins was cited for having no driver's license. Friday at a Lafayette hospital. He was a retired farmer.
