He loved talking about the building and real estate business with his family who were all involved in the industry. Throughout Edward's life he was known for his witty sense of humor. He was personable and dearly loved by his parents and brothers, Jeff and Jerry Brown, as well as his many friends. A proud uncle of J. Kyle Brown and his brothers Kevin and Christopher Patrick.

Great uncle to Kyle's daughter, Kailey Jane Brown. In one of his endeavors he successfully trained thoroughbred racing horses with his father, Len Brown, traveling to Houston, Texas, Louisville, Kentucky, Chicago, Illinois, and Saratoga, New York. He also sold advertising for Magellan, TSA, of Atlanta. Jim was a very intelligent and loving person. All of us will miss his beautiful and caring personality.
