Each flower of the lace was centered with tiny pearls and each stem of the flower had pearls from the center to the end of the stem, The back of the skirt was trimmed with a large bow centered with a cluster of self roses from which fell gracefully a fully pleated wide sweeping train. The bodice of the dress was buttoned in the back with tiny self covered buttons. It was fitted and was adorned in front with jeweled lace which continued around the scooped neckline. The tapering sleeves were untrimmed and ended in points over the wrists, Miss Schwartzenburg's veil of imported illusion was gathered to a triple crown of pearls and crystals, She carried a bouquet of white tuberoses. The handkerchief the bride carred was old, her dress was new, the earbobs she wore were borrowed and she wore a blue garter.

The bride's attendants were Priscilla Bouillion of Abbeville, maid of honor, Jennifer Schwartzenburg, Kathleen Duff lho, Ruth Alice Daly and Linda Couvillon all of Opelousas and Mrs. Dalton Higginbotham of Lake Charles, bridesmaids. Their Identical mint green peau satin dresses were patio length styled with tucked front bodices, square necklines and brief sleeves. The skirts were pleated on each side and were trimmed on the side with a tiny self bow. Their headpleces were crowns of yellow sweetheart roses and each attendant carried one long stem yellow rose, Men in the wedding party were Rodney Ford of New Orleans, best man, Ronnie Sheehan, Gilbert Choppin and Albert McGovern all of New Orleans, Marvin Schwartzenburg and Carl Schwartzenburg, both of Opelousas.

Elridge Schwartzenburg Jr. of this city was ring bearer. Ushering were Ken Vige of Crowley, Donald Schwartzenburg of Opelousas, Glenn Broussard of Kaplan and Ronnie Dautrieve of Lafayette, Elridge Jr. carried an oyster white rose with the rings inside the rose, Mr. and Mrs.

Schwartzenburg entertained at the wedding reception at Indian Hills Country Club.
