Sandra plans to enter Frostburg State Teachers College to prepare for a career as a teacher of elementary grades or high school English.

Action on this proposal will be the chief item of business at the annual session of Ihe Baptist body. The convention does not now operate a 'college. HID proposal is Ihe result of a two-year study by the higher education committee. No site will be recommended.

All that the com mittee will ask the convention to do is to approve the idea in principle. The committee will further recommend "that a continuing com miltee be appointed to publicize the prospective college, invest! gate and encourage financial support, search for and recomment a suitable location and take other steps as may be needed to bring the college into exislance." The Maryland committee met with similar committees from the District of Columbia and northern Virginia. Together they studied the need of an institution of higher learning in the national capita! area.
