Kennon today signed a bill raising the state funds distributed to cities by about $2,000,000 a year. The bill he signed was sponsored by the Louisiana Municipal Association. It makes distribution from the tobacco tax on the 1950 census and gives a minimum nine per cent increase in per allocation.
