Postal service was indicted by a federal grand jury Wednesday for allegedly stealing DVDs from the mail. Karen Durante, 24, faces four federal charges for stealing Netflix DVDs from the mail and a fifth count for possessing approximately 1,256 Netflix and Blockbuster DVDs that were stolen from the mail in the Lyons area, where Durante worked, according to Jeff Dorschner, spokesman for the U.S. Attorney's Office, District of Colorado. Mail theft and possession of stolen mail carry a maximum sentence per count of up to five years in federal prison a $250,000 fine. Public health issues topic of Jan.

Homeless shelters The Hostel of Hospitality at the Mission, 460 Linden Center Drive, provides shelter for the homeless. He was chief of research, product manager and traveled extensively through Europe for the company. Taking early retirement, Frank enrolled in Vermont Law School, graduating and passing the Vermont Bar in 1978, and subsequently the national Patent Bar. He practiced patent law from 1979 to 1991, when he and his wife moved to Fort Collins. Frank possessed enormous enthusiasm for numerous intellectual and physical activities. He pursued serious interests in mathematics, physics, history, and geography.

In Fort Collins, he was active in the Rotary and the Senior Center where he taught and took classes. He was an ardent lover of mountains, climbing all the 4,000 peaks in New England and downhill skiing until his 80's. He is survived by his wife, Betty Anne Jones; his daughter, Elizabeth Alison Dennis and husband, Dr. David Dennis, of Fort Collins; his son, Peter Jones and wife, Tandy Jones, of Evergreen; and three grandchildren, Sutinah Dennis Dempsey and husband, Richard, David Jones and Philip Jones. He was preceded in death by his eldest child, David, in 1954.

There will be a memorial service at 12:30 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 22, at the Fort Collins Senior Center, 1200 Raintree Drive with a following. The Rev. Robert Geller officiate.

Frank and his wife, JONES Betty Anne Shirlee A. Markham Shirlee A. Markham, MARKHAM Fort Collins, passed away Jan. 10, 2006. Shirlee was born Oct.

20, 1930, to Fred and Alice (Adamson) Butler in Uehling, Neb. She graduated from McCook High School in 1948, and MARKHAM later attended 75, of Barnes Business School. Shirlee was united in marriage to Orville Markham on April 13, 1951, in McCook, Neb. She was a homemaker, was in the livestock business for several years, as well as being involved with Markham Photo Lab. Shirlee and Orville moved from Colorado Springs to Fort Collins in 1964.

They were members of Faith Evangelical Free Church and Shirlee was also a member of the Waverly Club. She enjoyed many activities including, crocheting, doing puzzles, reading, playing cards and making daily entries in her diary. Shirlee was also active in her church Bible studies. Shirlee is survived by her husband of 54 years, Orville Markham of Fort Collins; one son, Dennis Markham and wife, Sherry, of Windsor; one daughter, Linda Daggett and husband, Rollin, of Fort Collins; and four grandchildren, Alison Daggett, Kimberly Markham, Aaron Daggett, and Michelle Markham. She was preceded in death by Paid funeral notices her parents, her brother and her sister.

A memorial service will be at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday at Faith Evangelical Free Church in Fort Collins. Clement Matthew McNaney McNANEY The sparkling Irish eyes of Clement Matthew McNaney closed for the last time on Jan. 4, 2006. He had been enjoying his four wheeler in the Arizona desert. Clem was born on Oct. 27, 1938, in Bayshore, N.Y.

After graduating from Babylon High School, he joined the Navy. He later McNANEY married his high school sweetheart Prudence Mary Sclafani on Aug. 26, 1961. He was a volunteer fire fighter while also working at the New York telephone company. In 1971, Clem moved his family out west to Wellington, transferring with the phone company.

He decided to start his own business in Wellington, Shamrock Sausage and Meat Company, which evolved into a pizza shop. He tried to get out of it, but stayed in the industry working for CSU food service, eventually returning to pizza, this time in Berthoud with Pizza Corral. Clem enjoyed his extensive collection of guns, coins and anything to do with John Wayne. He was a member of the Elks as well as being part of a group that ran in the early mornings at CSU's field house. He was preceded in death by his mother and father, Tess and Clement, of New York.

He is survived by his longtime wife, Prue; his children, Clem, Mike and Pat McNaney, and Colleen Tish and Wendy McNaney; and Babitz; his daughters-in-law, his son-in-law, John Babitz. His grandchildren are Matthew, Cory, Brittney, Tyler, Brianna and Carson McNaney, Gabrielle Schultz and Jessie Babitz, all of Colorado. He recently became a proud great-grandfather to Matthew's baby, Brayden. Clem is also survived by his sister, Maureen, of North Carolina, and his brother, Dennis, of New York. Clem was a very proud, intense man, who loved his family more than anything.

He was a kind and generous man, often helping those fortunate than himself. He will be dearly missed by those who knew and loved him. A service will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 14 at St.
