Mr. and Mrs. Larry Dennis Wehrman (Photo by David Barker) Miss Beobout Becomes Bride of Mr. Wehrman MONTGOMERY CITY- Lighted tapers in circular standing candalabra, potted palms, and spring flowers on the altar, provided the setting at the United Methodist- Presbyterian Church of Montgomery City for the Saturday evening wedding of Miss Iris Lea Beabout and Larry Dennis Wehrman. The Rev.

R.L. Hester of Montgomery City officiated at the double ring ceremony. The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. A.L.

Beabout of Montgomery City, and Mr. Wehrman's parents are Mr. and Mrs. Marvin D. Wehrman also of Montgomery City.

Mrs. Bopiie Blanker played wedding music also accompanied Mrs. Harvey Winter as she sang "Because" and "The Lord's Prayer." The bride, who was given in marriage by her parents, chose a floor length, white, bridal gown of silk organza over satin. Venice lace covered the bodice and accented the cuffs. The gown also featured bishop sleeves, a small stand up collar and full gathered skirt.

A detachable train of silk organza flowed from a bow attached at the waistline in back. Her elbow length veil of silk illusion was held in place by more of the venice lace enhanced by pearl clusters. She carried a bridal bouquet of pink tea roses, small white spider mums, baby's breath, and greenery, i Miss Judy Powell of St. Louis, 1 served as maid of honor. Miss Lola Jean Beabout, sister of the bride, and Miss Karen Wehrman, sister of the groom, were bridesmaids.

Miss Powell's dress was Trisha Barker, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Lee Barker, who was honored at a birthday party on April 1 in celebration of her third birthday. Attending were Mrs Cora Rinker of Fulton, Mrs. Sammy Barker and Dayton Lee of Benton City, Virginia and Janet Yager, Richard Lewis, Marvin Yager and Rose Lynn of Vandalia, Mr.

and Mrs. Virgil Hibbs of Kingdom City and Travis Barker, brother of the honoree. made of blue printed voile with flocked daisies. It featured empire waist, stand up collar, bishop sleeves, and satin ribbon tying into a self-made bow in back. Miss Beabout's and Miss Wehrman's dresses were made exactly like the maid of honor's differing only in color as theirs were pink and yellow respectively.

They carried colonial nosegays of pink carnations, daisies, baby's breath, blue pomps, and greenery. David Wehrman of Centralia, cousin of the groom, served as best man. Jim Davis and Neil Wehrman, both of Montgomery City and cousins of the groom, were groomsmen. Arthur Beabout of the bride, and Paul Blackburn of Peoria, 111., nephew of the bride were ushers. For her daughter's wedding, Mrs.

Beabout chose a dress of aqua lace knit with white accessories. Mrs. Wehrman wore a princess style dress of medium blue knit with lace sleeves, with black patent accessories. Each had cour- sage of the same flowers chosen for the bridesmaids' bouquets. Mrs.

Walter Stuck and Mrs. Leslie Wehrman, grandmothers, wore corsages of white carnations and greenery. Roy Belts, grandfather of the bride, had a white carnation boutonniere. Mrs. Shirley Blackburn of Peoria, sister of the bride, and Miss Lynn Wehrman, cousin of the groom, presided over an oval table covered with pink lace centered with a five-tiered wedding cake.

Miss Maria Wehrman, cousin of the groom, and Mrs. Kay Conners of Quincy, served punch. Miss Laurie Muns of Fayette and Miss Becky Dieterich of Quincy served coffee. Their table was decorated with a matching pink lace tablecloth, lighted tapers, and an arrangement of spring flowers. In charge of the guest book was Miss Rocio Fernandez Alvarez of Spain, AFS sister of the bride.

Receiving gifts was Miss Sally Clark, cousin of the groom, and Mrs. GeJuan Riddle. The former Miss Beabout was graduated from Montgomery Co. R-II High School and of Gem City Business College in 111. She is employed by Ralston Purina Co.
